Hi! Well, today marks an entire year since I first started writing this fic! I genuinely never thought I'd get over 26,000 reads but here I am! I can't thank any of you enough for the amount of support you've given this fic and ultimately, the confidence you've given me as a writer! Some of your comments have been so boosting! I know I'm not the best/quickest at updating but as we begin to draw the story to an end, I just wanted to say a huge thank you! There's 5 parts left until the climax of the story when we find out Katy's decision, but will it be what you expected?

Cheryl flicked through the channels on TV continuously, but nothing was taking her fancy. She couldn't concentrate.

It had been 3 months since Rihanna was released from hospital, fit and healthy and back to America.

Cheryl sat in her bedroom filing through old documents from tours, albums etc. She hadn't done anything career-wise for almost a year now, and she figured it was time to give something back to the fans.

Katy walked in with two cups of tea.

"Thank you." Cheryl murmured as she uncrossed her legs to kneel and take the cup from Katy.

"Any ideas as of yet then?" Katy asked as she sat on the edge of the bed sweeping a pile of documents out the way.

Cheryl sighed. "Not really. I've lost me creative spark." She said, taking another sip of her tea.

"Heyyy, don't say that!" Katy said, acting as if she was suddenly offended on Cheryl's behalf.

"Maybe the break was too long, or maybe it wasn't long enough? Maybe I should just quit music, I doubt the public would want me back anyway." Cheryl said.

"Don't be silly! Hey, what's come over you?" Katy asked, lifting Cheryl's chin with her fingers.

"I don't know. I just feel as if nothing's feeling right at the minute." Cheryl replied.

"Just because you can't think of a new instant number 1 hit - which I'm sure any of yours would be anyway - doesn't mean you should just give up! Things aren't right at the minute, and I know that's partly because of me, but please, don't give up! For the sake of the public!!!!" Katy laughed, nudging Cheryl.

Cheryl couldn't help but smirk.

"You know I love you, right?" Katy asked.

"Course." Cheryl replied.

"Good! Because I do." Katy whispered before placing a kiss on Cheryl's forehead.

She stood up and looked at her girlfriend.

"I'm taking you out tonight." Katy stated.

"Katy..." Cheryl began but was cut off by Katy.

"No buts! My treat." Katy replied.

Cheryl shook her head.

"Okay." She eventually replied.

"Great! I'll go book a reservation!" Katy said.

She left the room and went downstairs before Cheryl grabbed her phone quickly.

She dialled Kimberley.

"Hello?" Kimberley answered.

"Hey, Kimbers, could you please make up something for us to do tonight. Katy wants to take me out and I'm not ready for that. The public think we split up and as far as I know, they don't think we're back together." Cheryl requested.

"Cheryl, woah, slow down! I'm going to Amy's for dinner tonight with the family, I mean, you could always come... I guess." Kimberley replied, kind of reluctantly.
