Chapter 16.

*At the restaurant.*

Katy, Cheryl, Shannon and Lily all left the car and began to enter the restaurant. "Table under Perry." Shannon said, side eyeing Katy who was giggling with Cheryl. "Right this way Madame." The waiter said as he lead them past many reserved tables until he reached the right one. "Drinks?" He asked as they got settled. "A bottle of your finest red." Katy replied, barely giving it thought. The waiter smiled as he wondered off towards the bar.

"This is nice." Cheryl exclaimed, eyeing the walls of the restaurant. "Only the finest for you my lady." The waiter said as he returned with a bottle. He filled the 4 glasses before turning away to leave them. They sipped their wine and exchanged small talk for 20 minutes until they decided their meals. They all ordered pasta dishes.

*2 hours later.*

"You're so cute when you smile." Katy said as she admired Cheryl whilst putting her hand on her thigh. Cheryl blushed as Lily nudged Shannon. "Reel it in, Katy." Shannon murmured under her breath. Katy went silent like a school girl. "It's getting late.." Shannon said, shuffling in her seat. "Have you got a problem, Shannon?" Katy slurred. "No, of course not?" Shannon shook her head. "Oh really? It seems to me like you do?" Katy replied. Shannon stood up and pulled out her phone. "I'll call the car." She said before walking away from the table and through the door. "Let's go wait with her." Lily suggested. Katy and Cheryl followed her to the door.

Katy took Cheryl's hand as she lead her through the crowd of paparazzi towards the car. "SMILE." "TWO SHOT?" "Katy this way!" "Cheryl smile!" They heard the muffled voices say through the car window. "Drive!" Shannon commanded, watching through the window as the paparazzi follow the car. "Anything for a picture those things. Animals." Lily muttered, shaking her head. "I wonder what the headlines will be tomorrow." Katy said, quietly, as she leaned her head against the window. "ERM 'Katy and Cheryl DATING!'" Cheryl suggested, half playful - half serious. Katy let an unsure giggle. "We'll just have to see." She added.
