Katy woke up panting, she looked to her side and panicked, but then remembered Cheryl was in the other room.

She sighed with relief when she found that it was all just a dream.

She turned to her other side and picked up her phone.

It read '20 new messages.'

Rih: Katy. Have you seen the news?
Rih: You can't ignore this one.
Shannon: I'm coming round first thing tomorrow, we need to figure out what we're going to do.
Rih: Please.

Katy frowned.

She dialled Shannon's number.

*Phone call with Shannon.*

"Shannon???" Katy asked, eagerly. "God, Katy, it's 5:30am!" Shannon replied, yawning. "What are you talking about in the text!?" Katy asked, panicking.

Shannon sighed and paused.

"Well?" Katy provoked. "The press got pictures of you pushing Cheryl around, and her crying and pleading on the door. You're so stupid, do you know that? You pushed your fiancé around whilst there were, what, 10, 20, 30 paps outside!? What were you thinking? You should have known this would happen!" Shannon exclaimed.

Katy gasped.

"What do the headlines say?" Katy dared to ask. Shannon sighed. "It's not looking good. Hmm, let me see. 'Katy Perry brutally abuses frail fiancé Cheryl.' Seems to be the latest." She said.

"So it's all been turned on me?" Katy asked. "What did you expect? You pushed her outside and slammed the door shut in her face, Katy." Shannon said, sternly.

"It wasn't like that I-" Katy said, trying to defend herself but was cut off by Shannon. "You know what, I don't want to hear it now. I'll be over in about an hour. You better think of some ideas to explain when management call." Shannon stated, putting the phone down.

Katy shook her head and tilted it back on the headboard of her bed.

She got out of bed and went in the shower.

When she got out, she found Cheryl filling a suitcase with some of her belongings.

"Woah? What, where are you going?" Katy asked, raising her eyebrows.

"I've got a place to stay until I get me house back in the UK." Cheryl said, shrugging, continuing to fill her suitcase.

Katy pushed Cheryl's hands from her suitcase.

"You can't." Katy said.

Cheryl looked up at her.

"Why not, Katy? Scared the headlines are going to get worse than they already are?" Cheryl asked, sarcastically.

"You hit me, remember!" Katy said, quickly.

"But I didn't throw you outside and leave you cold with no belongings for about an hour, with the paparazzi, or should I say vultures, fighting for a picture! Did I?" Cheryl asked.

Katy shook her head.

"You're going no where." She stated.

"Aren't I? Watch me." Cheryl said as she zipped her suitcase up and wheeled it downstairs.

She was greeted by Shannon letting herself in at the door.

"Cheryl, I completely agree with what you're doing, but please - can I have a moment?" Shannon asked.

Cheryl sighed, but put her suitcase resting against the wall nevertheless.

"Something needs to be done. The media is going crazy, it's not stopping." Shannon stated.

Cheryl shrugged.

"As much respect as I have for you, Shannon, it's not really my problem at this point. Speak to Katy herself; I'm sure she'll have a lot more to say than I do." She replied.

"As much as you like to think it's not your problem, Cheryl, it still is." Katy said, walking down the stairs.

Cheryl turned to look at her.

"Please, don't try and shift the blame." She said, laughing sarcastically.

"Once again, you're trying to escape the real problems. It's going to be all "Poor Cheryl!" "She pushed you Cheryl, oh no, I'm sure you didn't do anything!" back home, since they seem to see everything but the true you, but here, it's both of our problem." Katy said.

Shannon's phone rang.

She looked and saw it was management.

"I've got to take this." She said, walking into the hallway.

*Phone call with management.*

"Do you understand this whole situation has jeopardised our reputation, Katy's reputation and your reputation as a PA, all in one!?" An angry voice said from the other end of the phone.

"I know. I'm sorry, I really don't know what to do." Shannon said, honestly.

"There's nothing you can do. The media will stir this until they get something much worse, and we have no choice but to sit by and let it. No one is going to believe Katy over Cheryl. Cheryl is loved by everyone, she's known and loved for her innocence, especially since she got cheated on by that football fella. She's got a right backing, Katy, on the other hand, not so much." Management stated.

"Right, so..." Shannon provoked.

"Katy needs to resign." He concluded.
