Ashley returned to the bedroom to find Cheryl and Katy staring at him.

"Who's gonna suck it then?" He laughed.

Katy frowned.

"I'll take both?" He offered, laughing.

"You're going to have to go." Cheryl said, softly.

Ashley kissed his teeth. "The Cheryl I knew wouldn't have let this bitch boss her around. She didn't do as she was told." He said, gathering his belongings.

"I'll see you around." Ashley said, leaning in to kiss Cheryl.

"Bye Ashley." Katy said impatiently as she stopped him from kissing Cheryl and led him to the door.

She locked the door behind him.

Cheryl slowly walked downstairs.

"Oh n-no, you're gonna have to leave too. You can't be here, we're over Katy, incase you forgot!" She said.

Katy looked devastated.

"Don't say that." Katy whispered.

"We're over." Cheryl repeated.

"You're still my girl." Katy said, sounding hurt.

"I'm not though, I'm not your girl. If I was ever 'your girl' why would you have sex with two other people and then lie to me with every chance you could get." Cheryl asked.

"I did it all because I love you. I didn't want to hurt you." Katy tried to reason.

"So you thought you'd lie to me instead, because that's a whole lot better?" Cheryl sneered.

"I guess?" Katy admitted.

Cheryl tutted and avoided making eye contact.

"I got on a fucking public plane alone, for 7 hours. Then - I got to London and had to push through a crowd of like 50 people trying to take pictures of me, I got into a dodgy cab and came to you because... I lost myself in fear of losing you!" Katy said.

Cheryl still didn't say anything.

"I can't be alone. I can't be without you. Before I met you, I was nothing. I was full of secrets - secrets I couldn't explain. I thought I wasn't enough, and I wasn't so tough. I wasn't ready to face the world alone... then I met you. I picked myself back up and I knew I had to stay. You know the first time I lay my eyes on you - I knew you were gonna be mine?" Katy began.

Cheryl turned to face her, tears filling her eyes, a slight smile gracing her face.

"You're the reason I'm here today." Katy added.

"Katy, you know I love you..." Cheryl whispered, softly.

"Yes..." Katy mouthed.

"But, I can't live in fear of being hurt by you every day. It's not fair! I can't do it to myself." Cheryl explained.

"I wish you knew how much I love you. How much I cherish every inch of your being, how-" Katy began but was cut off by Cheryl.

"But how many times are we going to do this? How many times can we do this? You say you wish I knew? Well how about you show it more? Wishing is no use if you're still going to cheat on me every time you're out of town. How many more times can my world stop spinning because Shannon or someone calls me telling me you've made a 'mistake' and not to be mad at you?" She said.

Katy reached to stroke Cheryl's cheek but she turned it coldly.

"What's a relationship without trust? We've both had one of those." Cheryl said, bluntly.

"You've got to learn to trust me." Katy suggested.

"How can I when you've not given me any reason to trust you, Katy?" Cheryl replied.

"Don't do this..." Katy pleaded, her voice cracking.

"I can't do it to myself." Cheryl replied.

"Cheryl." Katy mouthed, tears beginning to run down her face.

Cheryl put her hand to her mouth.

"I can't." She whispered.

"You can. I'm begging you. I will do anything. You name it, I'll do it." Katy said.

"No. Katy I'm sorry, it's over. I will not be taken for granted any longer." Cheryl managed to say, sternly nevertheless.

Katy closed her eyes slowly and opened them again, revealing more tears sliding down her cheeks.

"You can stay the night, in the spare room. I want you gone by morning." Cheryl said, walking towards the sink and pouring a glass of water.

She handed it to Katy.

"Stop crying." Cheryl said, turning off the light before walking upstairs.

Katy stood in the darkness and sipped her water.

She was alone, no one to hold. Her mistakes had led to this.

"Goodnight." Katy whispered.
