On That Same Year

Chapter 15

Hapon na ng mapagdesisyonan naming mag practice ng aming sayaw dahil nalalapit na ang aming event sa paaralan, halos lahat ng mga estudyante ay nag kalat na rin sa school ground dahil mag p-practice na rin sila.

Maayos naman na ang sayaw namin, kailangan nalang ng kaunting pag eensayo para mas gumanda iyong presentasyon namin sa nalalapit na event. Ang lahat ay halos naghahanda at nag p-plano na rin sa kanilang maaaring gamitin sa props at costumes.

Nag practice lang kami ng ilan pang mga minuto at maya-maya ay pinatumpok naman na kaming mga G12 students para makapag meeting na tungkol sa costume namin.

"Anong maaaring costumes na ma s-suggest n'yo based sa sayaw natin? Yung lahat sana ay mag a-agree." Chia, our choreographer and also the cheer captain of our dance.

Some raised their hands and got acknowledge by their ideas, inspite all of it wala masyadong naging agree at yung iba naman ay mapapagastos pa ang mga suggestions.

But, I wonder if they're going to agree with my suggestion. I have an idea about what are we going to wear, maybe I should try letting them know what are my thoughts?

I took a deep breath and then gather all my courage to raise my hand slowly.

Chia seem to notice it and then she acknowledge me to speak up my thoughts.

"Okay, tell us your thoughts Ris.." she said.

A lot of the G12 students started to look at me and I started feeling a little bit uncomfortable about their stares but I gather all my courage to deliver my thoughts with them normally.

"So, instead of spending some money to our costume..I think we can just use our uniforms." hearing what I said, I caught some G12 students look at me in disbelief. I knew most of them are going to disagree.

Basa ko naman sa mukha ni Chia na curious sya kaya naman..

"Continue, gusto ko marinig yung gusto mong iparating. Baka nga mas makatulong sa puntos itong outfit natin." Chia said, she's curious about my suggestion. Trust me, I'm trying to be thoughtful here too people.

"Okay, so what I'm trying to say is..instead na gumastos eh puwede naman nating gawing costumes ang ating mga uniform. Simple lang, puwede naman nating tahiin iyong palda natin paloob para umikli."

"Also, about the top. The uniform? We can just make it like a croptop pero hindi natin puputulin o igugunting ha. Style lang, make it shorter. So, what do you guys think?" I added to my long explanation.

Some of them now's looking at me with obvious amazed in their eyes while some of the students are trying to picture out what I'm trying to point out, Chia seem to be thinking about what I said too.

"Sa tingin ko talaga ayos yung suggestions ni Iris, Chi. Masyadong practical eh, okay lang naman kasi gumastos pero paano rin naman yung ibang walang pang gastos? Kaya sa suggestion nya I think mas mapapadali yung gagawin kasi efforts lang yung gagawin to make that happen." Geo commented, kita ko naman ang pag a-agree ng iba sa ideya ko.

"Oo nga Chi, wala na rin tayong panahon. Ilang araw nalang intrams na natin, mas maiging maaga na magawa para well-prepared na." Aiah added.

Chia nodded as she listens to their opinions and after hearing them all, she surpress a small smile within her lips.

"Show us the picture of your idea para alam namin kung saan mag uumpisa sa pag gawa ng sinasabi mo." she said while still wearing that small smile.

I smiled as well "Okay, give me time and I'll present to you what I'm going to do with my uniform para may basic guidance kayo."
