"Did  he call you and put you up to this?" You asked your red haired friend, one you haven't seen in what seemed like forever.

Technically since graduation. It's been years.

"Is that how you're gonna treat me after all this time?" He said in a jokingly manner, taking a step forward and pulling you a hug.

His hug was almost suffocating. Full of strength and warmth from his broad arms around your shoulders, almost afraid that if he loosened his grip just a little, you would disappear in front of his eyes again. Although you two weren't particularly close, you two were still friends especially since Bakugou considered Kirishima his one and only friend.

One that he trusts enough to call up and ask for a favor.

"I got called in, I know this is a lot to ask but... go keep her company with your dumb ass jokes. She definitely needs it."

He didn't hesitate to jump in his car and head on over after he was finished with his own hero work and he even stopped by and grabbed some pizza to bring with him. When he finally pulled back from you, he leaned down to pick up the bag holding the food and finally stepped inside of your place.

It felt a little awkward, for you anyway, because you purposely avoided almost everyone that you went to UA with. After graduation and falling into a coma for weeks, you felt embarrassed by being almost quirkless. You ignored the messages and tried to ignore the flowers and balloons piling up in your hospital room from your classmates but it was there.

After some time you slowly messaged everyone back after gaining back your lava but also gaining another quirk. Many of them wanted to see you, to hang out, to keep you company and check in on you. You avoided that as well.

So seeing Kirishima here, looking much older, much stronger and built bigger- it was definitely a big ass pill to swallow because the reality settled in and that was the fact you ignored him for years.

"You don't have to stay, Kiri. I'm sure Bakugou is just being a overthinking pest." You laughed slightly, releasing a short huff.

"I'm here because I want to be. Gives me a real excuse to check in on you after all the times you ignored me." He said sarcastically, making your heart drop at the realization that he knew.

Of course he did, everyone did. But when he saw the look on your face, his own expression dropped and he set the boxes down on the counter.

"I'm just joking, Y/N. I know you've been through hell." He laughed awkwardly, reaching back to scratch the back of his neck to ease the tension.

"I know I just.. feel awful about that." You let out a breath that was almost a laugh.

You finally shut the front door, switching the locks and stepping over to the kitchen counter. You needed to move once again to occupy your racing mind. You took out two plates, setting them down along with two glasses to fill with a drink.

"Is he going to be gone all night? Is that why he asked you to come here?" You quietly asked, watching him drop two slices of pizza on your plate.

"He doesn't know yet." He said truthfully but usually when he doesn't know, it meant he would be gone for a good amount of time.

"And they didn't call you in for that villain attack?" You raised your eyebrows in surprise.

"Well, I just finished a mission so they said it's fine if I go home but if it gets out of hand then they'll call me." He smiled a little, motioning his head towards the couch before you both made your way over there.
