today is a big day for myself, and taraji. we were currently in the dressing room, getting ready to go on jennifer hudson's show. i knew she wanted to ask me a few questions about myself, taraji, and laila, everything about my life, basically. i was willing to come because my hiatus starts soon, and they weren't gonna see us for a while anyway.

"tab?" i called out. they were applying eyeshadow, so i couldn't see who was in the room.

"yeah, what's up?"

"where's taraji and laila?"

"right here." i heard taraji say. i felt a hand grab mine. i knew it was hers. i smiled and relaxed in my seat.

"did laila fall asleep?" i hadn't heard her since we stepped foot inside the room.

"nah, she on that phone."

i chuckled, "so, what about you? are you nervous?"

"nah, should i be?"

"no, but this is your first time being in front of a huge crowd, right?"

"yeah"

"right, so i didnt know how it would make you feel."

"its cool. i mean, after all, they did find out i was homeless and everything, so me being nervous was out the window days ago, but enough about me, how you feeling?"

"confident. usually i would be nervous to get on a stage, but im feeling really good right now."

"okay, and open." my makeup artist told me.

"you look beautiful."

"thank you, baby, and you- you look amazing!"

"thank you, beauty."

"alright, fantasia and taraji, you guys are on in five."

both of us stood still hand in hand. i just cant get over how beautiful she looks. i went over to the coach where laila was sitting and placed a kiss on her head, and so did taraji.

"are you gonna watch us on the tv?"

"yes!"

"how do you feel right now?"

"good"

"hey, look at me. the second you start to feel bad, make sure you tell tabi right away, okay?"

"okay"

"alright, we love you"

"love you too"

and with that, it was time for us to go on set. we prayed over each other and shared kisses behind the curtain right before it shot open. the room filled with claps and cheers as we walked on stage.

"nice to meet you guys." jennifer gave us both a hug, and we all sat down.

"nice to meet you as well." taraji spoke.

"can we just take a minute out to admire how beautiful these two amazing women look right now!"

"thank you" we said in sync.

"whew! okay, ladies, how are you two first of all?"

"i-"

"im- go ahead, beauty."

"no, it's okay. you can go first."

"no, i interrupted you. go ahead."

"okay, well, im fine. i can't complain. im happier than ive ever been. wouldnt have it any other way."
