(Updated, 2018)

Only halfway through this class and this is the first time I ever wanted this class to be over with.

I watch the clock as it slowly gets closer to two in the afternoon. I let out a low sigh as I try to listen to Mr.Jones go over the different items that we would be learning throughout the year.

"Hey Michael, where's Luke?" I hear Calum whisper to his red haired friend beside him.
Hearing his name made my heart drop. Out of all of them, Luke is the worst. I absolutely despise him. He has the worst attitude, he doesn't have respect for anybody but his little "crew", his temper is absolutely terrible and he scares everyone including me.

"He's said he was catching up with Maddie, because he had a lot of time to make up with her." Michael replies while wiggling his eyebrows. Ashton lets out a small chuckle and shakes his head.

"Boys! I've already gave you three a warning. Now I would hate to go against my morals and give you three detention on the first day of school. Now hush up." Mr.Jones exclaims while turning his attention to the three boys in front of me. They all let out a small "okay" before Mr.Jones turns back to doing what he was doing.
About five minutes later there was a knock at the door making Mr.Jones shake his head and mumble something about interruptions. He opens the door and takes a deep breath.

"Well hello Mr.Hemmings so glad you could join us."

Mr.Hemmings..
Oh boy here we go.

Luke strolls in making it obvious that he rolled his eyes at Mr.Jones. I mentally scoff at his lack of respect for anyone older than him. The boys let out a snicker, which caught Luke's attention. He smirks and slowly makes his way back here, taking in everyone's face in the process. I instantly look down so he wouldn't see my face and start doodling in my empty notebook. Clearing his throat, I look over at Justin, who has a smirk on his face and was glancing between me and someone in front of us.

"Looks like Luke might has his eyes on someone." He whispers while turning his full attention back to the front. I continue to look at him with an raised eyebrow as he lets out a low chuckle. He turns back to look at me and notices the confusion in my eyes. He lets out another low chuckle and shakes his head.

"My God you are so clueless."

Finally this school day is over with.

The final bell rings dismissing everyone from classes and school.

"I'm so happy today is over with." I tell Justin as I put my English book into my locker and closing it shut. He nods in agreement as we make our way towards the exit.

"Do you need a ride home?" He asks as we finally make it to the exit. He held the door for me and I blush at the sweet gesture.

"Um no. I'm going to work." I tell him then looking down to try and hide my blush. He laughs at my obvious attempt to hide it.

"You work? Someone as shy and quiet as you works?"
I nod as we make it to the parking lot of the school.

"Well since we're at the lot let me drive you there. Where do you work?" He asks.

"I work at the music shop at the corner of 9th and 10th street, but I don't want to bother you for a ride." I say while stopping as he continues to walk to his car.

"No it's not a problem. I have to drive by there anyway to get home. Live right around the corner actually." He tells me with a simple shrug of his shoulders.
Once he saw I wasn't going to move he walks back over and grab my wrist for the second time today. He drags me to his car and open the passenger side. Sighing I hop in and watch as he struts to the other side. I let out a sigh before placing on my seatbelt. He plops down in the drivers seat and close the door. He fumbles with his keys before placing them into the ignition and starting the car.

"Ready?"
I nod while he takes the car out of park and into drive. We pull out of the parking lot and onto the semi busy highway.
The car ride was filled with laughs and small conversation. To be quite honest I never been this talkative with anyone before. Justin is just so easy to talk to and it helps me open up.
Too soon the fun car ride came to the end and here we are parked in front of the music store. We sat in silence for at least a minute. It wasn't an awkward silence, just peaceful.

"Thanks for the ride."
I turn to him and send him a small smile. His eyes were already on me as he sends one back.

"It's no problem really." He said while digging in his pocket and pulling out his phone. He passes it to me and I send him a look as if he were crazy.

"What? You act like you never seen a phone before."
I roll my eyes and take his phone out of his hands and type in my number. I also sent myself a text with his name in it. Surprisingly no one would ever think of me having a phone because well I hardly talk to people.

"I'll text you later. Okay?"

I nod as I open the car door and get out. I close it and wave at him as he pulls off making me release a small sigh.

Maybe being social isn't bad after all
