(Updated, 2018)
Day After Day, I'm waiting for school to end.
The rest of the week seemed as if it had some place to be meaning today is now Saturday. I was currently getting ready for girls day out or whatever you want to call it. I threw together a simple outfit which consisted of a light thin grey sweater, a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a pair of grey combat boots. Plus I did a pretty good job covering up that love bite that Luke left. I did my hair in a loose body wave high ponytail that my mom just loves for some reason. I guess because I use to wear my hair like this when I was little all the time.
Anyway I told Riley that I was going to meet her at the mall around 12 so that we could eat some lunch and then shop until we drop. I love going shopping but I just never have the time for it anymore even though the mall is about fifteen minutes away from my house. My mom and I use to go to the shopping center every Saturday with my dad to go play at the little bouncy place that they blew up for the little kids. It was absolutely amazing. I want to go back to being young and carefree.
Sighing I park in the large parking area and get out of my car making sure not to hit the car next to mine. I walk quickly to the elevator, pressing the up button so I can get to the third floor a.k.a the food court. The elevator dings signifying me that it has arrived, the doors sliding open with ease. I walk in clicking the third floor button. I listen to the typical elevator music as the elevator slowly made its way to the top floor, it stopping once to gather a few more people.
Once I make it to the top floor I remember Riley saying she was going to be grubbing out on Chinese. I quickly scan the area and saw her in fact grubbing out on Chinese. I walk over to her and sit down in the seat across from her. She lifts her head up from her plate and gave me a close mouth smile until she was done chewing."Hola mi Amiga. I brought you some Chinese because I remember you saying you love the sesame chicken from this place." She says before taking a bite of her egg roll. I smile at her as she pushed the full plate of Chinese in front of me.
"Thank you. You didn't have to do that though. How much was it? I'll pay you back." I say in a small ramble. This was such a sweet gesture and we just met Wednesday. I mean we only ate Lunch together Thursday and Friday, but that's it.
"No no it's fine. I did this because you're fucking amazing and deserve some Chinese food." She says with a smile.
"Plus haven't you ever heard when you're offered food you just take it and you don't question it." She tells me while drinking some tea.
"No. Not that I know of." I tell her with a shrug before opening the Chinese food letting the sweet aroma of the food enter my nose. I grab the fork that was beside it and pick up a piece of chicken before putting it in my mouth.
"Well now you have so you're going to enjoy that Chinese food because for one it was free and secondly it's Chinese food." She tells me while laughing making me let out a small giggle.
We continue to laugh and have fun for the next hour before we actually start shopping. We bonded over the smallest thing such as food and makeup. She's actually a really fun person and I wish I was friends with her sooner because we're leaving soon and that's going to suck so much."Can you please tell me your fashion secrets because I am feeling your outfit and plus your glasses goes great with it. I'm so jealous." Riley tells me while we're looking through this small clothing store. She was in the middle of picking at some jeans while I was looking through some shirts.
"What do you mean? Your fashion sense is way better than mine. I mean look at you." I tell her while picking up a shirt that had a poor design. Right now she was wearing some knee high black boots, with dark blue shorts and a plain black shirt covered by a black and blue flannel.
