What is he doing here?

Quickly he snaps his head in my direction.
To say he looks worn out was an understatement. For one, he was wet from head to toe. Secondly his eyes were bloodshot. Lastly he was shivering from the cold. He just stares at me with darken eyes and a sad look on his face. When he didn't speak I said something.

"Justin, why were you driving in this bad storm? Why were you coming here?" I ask him all at once. He turns his head and focuses back on his cold tea. I sigh while walking over to him and grabbing the half full cup from his grasp before walking over to the sink and emptying the cup's content into the sink. He still sat there with a blank expression on his face. I grab a pot and filled it with water before placing it on the stove top to boil. I quickly turn on the burner and walk over to Justin. I sit down beside him in the empty chair as he keeps his gaze on the counter top. We sit in silence for a good ten minutes, which gave the water a good amount of time to boil.
When he still didn't speak I got up from the chair and over to the stove top. I turn off the burner and grab two mugs from the cabinet. I pour the steaming water into the two mugs and grabbed two tea bags from the box of tea packets.

"You were right." He states quietly, barely loud enough for me to catch it. I turn to him as he still had his gaze on the counter top. I turn back to the mugs and fix the two cups of teas before carrying them over to Justin and sitting one in front of him. I slide into my seat before speaking.

"About what?" I ask quietly making him let out a sigh and bringing the steaming cup of tea to his lips.

"About Nicole. She did use me and you were completely right. God I'm such a fucking idiot." He states while tightening the grip on the mug. I place my hand on his shoulder making him release the death grip he had on the mug.

"What happened Justin." I say giving him a hint to explain to me what was going on.

"Well before I even thought about coming here, I was on my way to her house. I wanted to talk to her because of what you were telling me when you called me to the music store. I haven't talked to her ever since that day and it seemed to me she didn't even care. So I'm at her house and her mom lets me in. She said I could go on up to Nicole's room, where little did I know she would be fucking some boy name Will. I don't even bother confronting her about it, I just left. So you were right. She was just using me and I was such an idiot to see that because she fooled me into thinking that she was everything I needed. She made me lose my best friend and I feel like shit behind it. Lilly I am so sorry for just dropping you like you were nothing yet in all honestly you mean the world to me. You are such a good friend and I was so lucky to call you my best friend. Yet also I was the dumbass to let you think that you weren't. All you were trying to do was protect me from getting hurt and I didn't listen." He explains while letting out a big breath at the end. He then looks up from the mug and over at me waiting for me to answer.

"Wow. Well first let me start off by saying that it's okay. We all make mistakes, but in all honest I don't understand why you just stopped talking to me. I don't understand why you wouldn't even look my way anymore. When I didn't talk to you for that small period of time because of what Luke said it wasn't because I just wanted to cut you off. It was because I didn't want to get hurt, but with you it honestly doesn't make sense. What did that girl tell you that made you want me to stay out of your life forever?" I ask while taking a sip of my lukewarm tea.

"Well she told me that she over heard you talking to Calum that you were just using me. She said that she heard you tell Calum I was never a good friend and that you could become so popular from just hanging out with me. In all honesty, I know you aren't like that but I was just blinded by the fact that someone like her wanted someone like me." He says while taking a sip of his tea. I shake my head in confusion.
