Today at work flew by. I'm not complaining though.
Sighing, I continue to work on my chemistry homework before glancing at the clock. The clock read 12:54 am making me let out another sigh. I'm only partially up because of my homework. In all reality I'm waiting on Luke to come over like he said he was going to do. He texted me at twelve thirty saying that he was on his way over.
Letting out another puff of air, I glance over at my partially completed chemistry homework before shutting the notebook and moving it into the corner of my desk. I hear my phone vibrate making me snap my attention over to it. I grab it and see that Luke messaged me.From: Luke
Can you open your window?I hop up from my desk and walk over to the window. I swiftly unlock the window before pulling it up and feeling the fresh breeze across my face. I look down and see Luke with his phone in his hands. He looks up and sends me a smile. I motioned for him to come up and he nodded. I watch him as he skillfully climb up the tree. I take a step back so he could enter my room. He enters the room and then turns to close the window. He locks it before turning to me and sending me a smile.
"I was actually suspecting you to be asleep at your desk by now." He tells me while walking past me and to my bed. He places his bag down on the floor and kicking off his shoes. I raise an eyebrow at him before glancing at his bag.
"Well at first I was up listening to mom and her boyfriend giggle like two little school children and then I started my chemistry homework and I started stressing over that." I tell him while messing with the bun on my head. He lets out a small laugh as he peels off his shirt and chucks it across the room. He stretches before he leans back onto my bed.
"So your mom and her boyfriend are still downstairs?" He asks. I nod as a reply before making my way over to my bed. I sit down on the edge of my bed as Luke spoke again.
"So that means your mom is pretty much distracted and her mind is else where." He says making me lift my eyebrow at him again and turning to face him.
"Yea I guess. I don't even know why her mind would be up here." I tell him while furrowing my brows together. He laughs at my response before moving from the head of my bed to beside me. I turn to him and send him a smile. He returns the favor before leaning in and placing a soft kiss on my lips. He let his lips linger on mine for a few more seconds before pulling back. He leans back only for me to lean towards him and connect my lips to his. He smirks as he rest his hands on my upper thigh and giving it a squeeze. I pull away from him and send him a smile.
"No. If my mind is in the same place yours is, I know what you're thinking isn't a good idea." I tell him while laughing quietly and getting up from my bed. I walk over to my desk and turn off the lamp then walking over to the window to make sure my window was lock. I turn to look at Luke, who also stood up from bed. I watched him while the moon danced on his face. His blue eyes twinkles while a small smile dances on his face.
"What are you staring at?" He questions before walking over.
"Nothing. It's just you're very mesmerizing and it's just captures me." I tell him meeting him halfway. He laughs as he shakes his head. He then grabs my waist and pulls me into him.
"You're so amazing, sweetheart." He whispers as he leans down to where he was right in front of my face. His eyes were in the right spot where the moon can hit them perfectly.
