No. No. No.

The only three words that's been going through my head all day. When I woke up this morning all I could think about is going to Luke's house and sitting there for a few hours. Just the thought alone made shivers run up my spine.

Okay calm down. There's plenty of people in the world with the last name Hemmings. Right? It's a known last name around, right?

I need to talk to Justin, but he probably hates me for ignoring him. I don't even know why I'm ignoring him just because of what Luke said. He would probably hate me just because I believed Luke. Crap I feel so stupid. Justin was good enough to be my friend and here I am listening to Luke about how Justin is "pretending" to be my friend.

God I'm such an idiot.

"Lilly!"
I snap out of my thoughts as I look over at Calum. He gave me a look before turning back to Mrs.Smith. She was talking about some of the different projects. I'm guessing Calum grabbed my attention because he wants me to see his project. Mrs.Smith was saying how his is one of her favorites because of the detail and what not. It was actually really good. Usually Calum doesn't do his work and seeing this makes me wonder why not. He's a very talented drawer. His drawing was of him sitting on his balcony and strumming a bass guitar. Everything was drawn with so much detail that it actually look like someone took a picture of him.

"Good work, Mr.Hood. This drawing is absolutely amazing and I expect more like this throughout the rest of the year." Mrs.Smith states as she places it back on one of the stands. The class claps as Calum turns back around so that he was facing me again.

"Well I knew I should have done a shitty job now she's expecting great things out of me." He said while throwing air quotes around "great things". I let out a small laugh as Mrs.Smith begins to speak again.

"Well since we only have a few minutes left you can have the rest of the class as free time." She tells us with that same smile. She looks over at me and smiles even more. She starts walking over to Calum and I with our projects baring in her hands. He glances over to me and I shrug.

"Mr.Hood and Ms.Piper, your projects were probably the best projects I've seen. I'm very proud of you two and I expect a very good class with you two." She tells us with another one of her many smile and placing our projects in front of us. She walks off leaving me with a laughing Calum.

"What's so funny?"

"Your last name is Piper?" He asks while busting out into another fit of laughter. I laugh along with him and shake my head.

"Yes it is. I know you're probably thinking of the tongue twister." I laugh as he starts laughing again.

"Well at least I can say it. Peter Piper Picked A Pack Of Pickled Peppers." He finishes with a satisfied smirk. I let out a laugh as he gives me a confused look.

"That's not the full version." I tell him while giggling again. He gives me another confused look.

"Well tell me the full version." He states as he sits back in his chair and folds his arms.

"Peter Piper Picked A Pack Of Pickled Peppers. If Peter Piper Picked A Pack Of Pickled Peppers, How Many Pickled Peppers Did Peter Piper Pick?" I answer with a smile planted on my face. His eyes widen and his jaw drops slightly.

"What was that? I never heard that before! My whole childhood has been a lie." He states with a fake sob as he leans forward and let his head fall onto the desk. I let out a giggle before patting his head and putting everything into my bag as Calum let out a fake sniffle.

"Oh calm down, little red riding hood." I say while a giggle escapes from in between my lips. Quickly he snaps his head up and met my eyes.

"Hey now, my hood might be red and good for riding but it sure isn't little." He states with a serious face then breaking out into a smile. It took a minute for me to get it but once I did, I'm pretty sure my face was red. I groan and throw my head into my hands. He laughs at my reaction.

"Calum that was gross." I say that came out muffled due to my face being my hands. He laughs again as the bell rings making me remove my red face from my hands and glance over at Calum. He was standing there as if he was waiting for me. I send him a confused look before standing up and walking towards him.

"I'll see you around then." I say while walking by him only for him to catch up with me. We walk in silence until we were out of the classroom.

"What are you doing?" I ask out of confusion. He walks beside me even when we were out of the classroom instead of going to meet up with his friends.

"I'm walking with you. What does it look like Lilly?" He states with a chuckle at the end as we went into the main building and to my locker. I'm silently praying that Luke isn't there like he usually is when he founds out something. I don't want Luke and Calum to argue because of Calum walking with me. I tense up at thought of those two fussing and bickering over the fact that Calum is actually talking with me.

"Lil, are you alright? You seem tense." I hear Calum ask which snaps me out of my thoughts.

"I-I'm fine." I stutter out as we make it to my locker. I quickly place everything I didn't need into my locker and everything I needed, I took it out and place it in my bag. I slam my locker close and quickly pull Calum away from my locker as we start our way to the Cafe.

"You know you're a terrible liar and by what just happened something is on your mind. Now tell me." He says as we continue our journey to the cafe.

"Well I was just thinking about how Luke would sometimes be at my locker or somewhere near it and with my luck he would probably be there well I thought he would, but he wasn't. I was just nervous because I didn't want Luke to see you with me and get all angry and you two to argue." I tell him then taking a deep breath after as we make it to the cafe. He let out a chuckle before shaking his head.

"Wow you think a lot, but okay look it's alright. He wasn't there so you have nothing to worry about, alright?" He says softly as I came to a halt in front of the doors making him stop also. I nod and send him a small smile. He returns it with a wink. I blush slightly as we stand in silence.

"I can see your still uncomfortable with the thought of us being friends and walking around together so you can go ahead in and I'll wait a couple minutes to go in. Okay?" He tells me with a smile and placing his hand on the handle. I nod and send him another thankful smile as he opens the door. I thank him quietly as I quickly walk in and over to the line.

Well then.....
