(Updated, 2018)
Second day of school and all I'm thinking about is leaving.
When I got home last night my mum and I ate dinner and discussed how my first day of school went. I told her about how I made a new friend and everything, but I left out what happened at work. The rest of the night consisted of Justin and I texting until I accidentally fell asleep on him. I told him about what happened at work and he kept saying how much of an asshole Luke was which completely made my night.
At the moment I was walking to art with my art notebook tightly in my hands. Honestly with all the events happening yesterday I really need to draw something. It might not seem like much but it is to me. Making a friend and keeping a full blown conversation with him, basically being taunted into talking to one out of four morons, and being told I'm a nobody by an irrelevant someone. Yea that's a lot. I actually never had that much attention by anyone before or never have I talk that much in one day before.
Sighing I take a breath as I step through the door of the art classroom. I instantly walk back to my table as I notice that one of the seats were occupied by Calum. I walk around the table and to my seat that was across from him. He notices my presence and put his phone down on the table."Hello Lilly." He said as I sit down and place my bag on the floor. I send him a small smile as the tardy bell rings making me jump. Calum lets out a laugh as Mrs.Smith claps her hands together with a bright smile on her face.
"Alright class, today we are going to start a project." She said happily as most of the class let out a small groan. I get it's only the second day of school but we can't just laze around all day. Me personally I'm excited for the project.
Whoops. Art Nerd alert.
"Well first you can all calm down because it's not a major project. Just a minor one. You're going to draw you." She said with another smile. The class gave out a confused look as answer. Rolling my eyes I sigh at how this was suppose to be an "advance art" class, but half of the class acts clueless twenty-four seven.
"What I'm getting at is that you're going to draw yourself doing something you love. This is advance art so I expect a very detail painting. You can use either color pencils or paint, but absolutely no crayons. If I see a single crayon on a single painting I will fail you instantly. It's all due next Tuesday, which gives you exactly a week. Now go get started." She finishes with the same smile that fell not too long ago.
Once she finishes Calum turns around and faces me once again. Now thinking about it how did Calum get into advance art? I mean usually he doesn't care about classes."So when are you going to start my project?" Calum asks while actually grabbing a drawing pad out of his bag. I snap my eyes up from digging out of my bag for my box of color pencils and land on him.
"E-Excuse me?"
He let out a chuckle before shaking his head and speaking again.
"I'm just kidding." He says while sending me a quick wink. I blush a tad bit before starting on the outline of my drawing. He chuckles at my blushing state before taking one of my pencil and starting his drawing.
We both were silent for the whole class except for the last five minutes when Mrs.Smith said we could have the last five minutes of class as free time."So what's your drawing about?" I ask while twirling my thumbs around each other after finishing packing up. He snaps his eyes over to me with a shocked look on his face.
"You're actually starting a conversation with me?" He questions with the same shock expression plastered on his face. I shrug as I turn my attention back to the table.
"No I didn't mean it in a bad way. It's just you never start conversations with or talk to me for that matter." He states with a chuckle as I turn my attention back to him. Once again I shrug as I lose interest in the conversation making him let out a sigh. He was about to speak again but the bell rung dismissing us for lunch. I quickly grab my bag and toss it over my shoulder as I shuffle quickly out of the art room. I walk quickly to my locker to grab my English book instead of waiting until after lunch. For one it's less crowded, actually pretty much empty and it's quicker to get to my locker. Secondly the line should be easier to get through when I get there.
At my locker I place my history and chemistry book inside then grab my English book. I really don't understand why we have to take this heavy book around everyday. Sighing I close my locker and start walking towards the cafeteria."Hey!"
Quickly I turn around to see Luke walking angrily towards me. I felt my heart drop to my stomach as my mouth went dry.
What did I do?
I wait patiently yet nervously as he makes his way over to me with an angry look etched on his face. Once he stands in front of me his jaw was clenched, his eyes were giving me an icy glare, and his lips were in a thin line. I swallow the lump in my throat as he spoke.
"Why the hell are you talking to Calum?"
I was taken back at his question because it shouldn't concern him who I talk to.
We sat in silence for at least thirty seconds before he groans and grabs my shoulders pushing me back into the lockers. I winch once my back hit the cold locker and look up at Luke."I asked you a fucking question." He states coldly leaving me still in my shocked state.
How does he even know I associate with Calum?
Instead of speaking I shrug as an answer for his question. He rolls his dark blue eyes and bites down on his lip.
"It's kinda too late to try and get attention now. You've been going to school with us for your entire lame little life so why start now? Like I said yesterday you're a nobody and will stay a nobody. So do me and the boys a favor and leave Calum alone. He doesn't need anyone to know that he did talked to you. It would ruin his reputation." Luke says as the tears stung at the back of my eyes. He must have noticed because he smirks and let out a dry chuckle.
"Oh don't tell me the little baby is about to cry."
I look down and shake my head as he removes his grip from my shoulders. I push pass him and make my way to the cafeteria, but before I could go anywhere he grabs my wrist and pulls me back into his chest. He grips my waist making my heart speed up and my flustered cheeks turned a bright pink.
"Oh and keep this between us. Wouldn't want people to think I would waste my time talking to you."
I nod as his words sends daggers to my heart. I kept my gaze on the floor as he drops his hands from my waist and march off down the hallway. I let out a big sigh as I turn back the opposite way and walk to the Cafeteria.
I think what Luke said hurt more than it should.

Geez Luke no need to be so violent. You're being an asshole. She has feelings too, you know?
Guess what time it is?? It's once again three in the morning and I have a volleyball tomorrow or well today idk but anyway tomorrow night I will not be able to update like normal. I probably post it when I get a chance. Also I start school Monday so I'll be updating a lot slower so I apologize in advance for that. Oh and also if you see any mistakes I'm sorry I will totally fix them when I wake up babes!
But on a different note can anyone else think about how hot asshole Luke must be because hot damn I can.
Also just because I don't tell you all this enough....
