What in the world is this boy talking about?

"What?" I say in a small voice.

"You. They started arguing ov-

"No. No. No. I heard you the first time. Why the fuck would they be arguing over me?" I ask while looking up at a shocked Justin.

"Lillian Piper. I did not just hear that word come out of your mouth." Justin says completely shocked. I realize what I said and blush a tad bit.

"But Justin why would they be arguing over me? How did you find out?" I take a deep breath and lean against the counter top.

"I found out from Ashton. Well not directly from Ashton, but I over heard it from him."

"So in other words you were ease dropping?"
He nods while dropping his pizza crust back in the box.

"Well Ashton was talking to Michael and Calum about the lunch ordeal at the lot this afternoon after you pulled off so me being me I stayed and listened. So it all started in a land far far away and-

"Justin this is no time for jokes." I say while picking up a piece of crust and tossing it at him. He laughs before starting his story over again.

"Okay. Okay. Well it started because Ryan was talking about you and Luke over heard him and got pissed off so then him and Ryan went at it quietly. It gradually got louder and then you heard the rest."

"S-So Luke, why would he start an argument over me?" I ask.

"Seems to me he was jealous." Justin states while dragging out 'jealous'. I scoff and shake my head.

"Jealous? No. Never in a million years." I say while shaking my head again.

"Yea basically he was, but then Ryan brought Maddie into this so now there's a lot more drama."

Oh shit

I don't want to have to deal with Maddie. She's going to say I'm trying to steal her man and what not. Now I'm going to be so paranoid. Jesus Christ this isn't good.

"Oh. Justin I'm screwed. Maddie is going to think I'm trying to steal Luke from her. I don't want Luke. I hardly even know him. Why is all of this happening now?" I ramble to Justin as I start pacing back and forth.

"Lil. Calm down. This thing will blow over by the end of the week."

Oh you better be right Justin.

--

Well I'm going to kill Justin.

It's been a week since the whole lunch ordeal and everyone has found out about me being the cause of the argument. Now when I walk down the halls all I hear are whispers about me.

"Isn't that the chick that started the argument between Luke and Ryan?"

"That's the girl that started the argument."

"Has she always been here?"

"She's kind of hot."

I refuse to believe that I started any argument what so ever. This is ridiculous. All this drama is so silly and unnecessary. I blame Luke. This is all Luke's fault. He could have just ignored Ryan and stayed out of his business, but no. He just wanted to be complicated and cause trouble on me, but there is one question that makes me wonder what made Luke throw such a big scene.

I wonder what Ryan said that made Luke so angry?

More importantly why did Ryan say something about me?

I clutch my art notebook closer to my chest as I make it outside the main building. I sigh out of relief as I make it outside and away from most of the school. All this attention makes me feel like I'm trapped inside of a box and I can't get out. I really don't like attention. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Sighing I make my way into the art building and to the classroom. When I entered I noticed there were little to no people here. I raised an eyebrow and walked over to my usual table.

"Calum what's going on?" I ask as I place my notebook on the table and quickly sit down avoiding most stares. Calum who was once again smiling down at his phone looks up at me and continue to smile with a shrug.

"I don't know. I think we have a sub." He states with another shrug of his shoulders as the bell rings.

"What does a sub have to do with anything?"
He lets out an laugh as he shakes his head.

"Well since I know you're a goody two-shoes and probably never skipped class a day in your life, but whenever some people have a sub they skip class Lil. It's not that hard to put together." Calum says with a smug look on his face. I roll my eyes at his statement and sighed.

"Then why are you still here? I'm surprised you didn't jump at the opportunity to skip class."
He laughs at my comeback before staring at me intently.

"Well what kind of friend would I be if I left you here all by yourself?"
I shrug as I look down at my art notebook. Soon enough the sub came in and started talking about nonsense, such as how he didn't want to be here just as much as us. I rolled my eyes and groan internally. I swear I don't know how half of these people get degrees. If you don't want to be here then why get a teaching degree. Honestly you're just wasting time and money.
I let out a sigh as he began to take roll and calling out each name slowly. I groan lowly and Calum laughs while scribbling something down on a small piece of paper. I hear my name being called so I raise my hand. He looks over and nods. Calum slides the piece of paper my way and glance from me to the paper.

The following students have permission to leave class at 11:30 a.m:
-Calum Hood
-Lillian Piper

And a fake signature at the bottom. I quickly snap my head up and look at Calum.

"No." I say as I shake my head.

"Oh come on. Live a little. It's just one class and the note always work. We won't get caught and plus I can't stand to be in here for another five minutes listening to him talk about how much he hates teaching." He whispers back while rolling his eyes and glancing at the dry talking sub. I let out a small giggle before look up at him.

"Another plus we can be early for lunch." He adds while wiggling his eyebrows.

"As tempting as that sounds I'll stay here and enhance my learning. You go have fun."
I send him a small smile as he sends me a fake pouty face back. He looks down at the note and scribbles out my name then standing from his seat. He walks over to the sub and hands him the note. The sub quickly let his eyes scans over the note and passes it back to Calum. He shoos Calum off and before he left Calum looks over at me and mouthed "live a little." He walks out and leaves me staring at a grey door.

Live a little? Hm sounds interesting.

Hello hello. Things are taking a turn and I'm excited.

Hmmm just a filler. This chappie is boring, but very needed for future parts of this book. Especially the part when.....never mind you'll figure it out :))))))))))))))))))

Oh and I might double update bc this one was quite boring and I want a little bit of drama to stir up bc I'm excited for this story's future. Oh and once I apologize for any mistakes I'll fix them once I become unlazy omg
