I wish Luke would stay out of my mind.

Every since what happened at the store on Friday Luke has been permanently etched into my brain. I mean that's nothing new, but no matter what I think about, my mind would automatically go back to him and I hate it so much.

"Lilly. Are you alright?"
I snap out of my thoughts and look over at Justin.

I forgot we were in the middle of Lunch.

"Yea I'm fine." I lied while sending him a not so convincing smile.
I told Justin about what happened with Luke and Ryan at the store and he was just as confused as I was.

"You're lying. Are you still thinking about the whole music store situation?" He asks as he plays around with his soup.

"Yea I am and I can't stop thinking about it. Luke is an asshole and Ryan seems like an okay guy, yet they're talking to me. Me out of everyone. What is going on?" I tell him as I take off my glasses to clean them with my shirt. I sigh as I place my glasses onto the table and my head into my hands.

"I don't know but whatever it is seems to be getting interesting."
I look up from my hands and over at Justin, who was looking over at the "populars" table. I follow his gaze and noticed that Luke and Ryan were at least a foot away from each other. Maddie has her hands firmly on Luke's chest while Ryan's friends were holding him back by the back of his shirt. Both of their faces were filled with anger and hatred towards each other. Luke and Ryan has not liked each other for a while now. They always had this burning rivalry towards each other and not many people knew why.

"Grow the fuck up, Ryan. Have some respect for people." Luke speaks while taking a step towards him and ripping Maddie's hands off his chest.

"I know you didn't just tell me to have respect for people. You're just as bad as I am. Not once have I seen you respect someone. Grows some balls and just admit it." Ryan scolds while tearing himself away from his friends and poking Luke in his chest. Luke pushes his finger away from his chest.

"Oh please. What do you want me to admit? That you're just an ignorant son of a bitch with no morals what so ever." Luke states.

"Quit being a jealous fuck Luke. We all know I'm better. We all know you feel threatened by me and that's the only reason you're making a big deal out of this." Ryan says with a smirk on his face. Luke scoffs.

"Me? Me feel threatened by you? If you're so much better then why do you keep going aft-, doing what I do? If you were so much better than me, you would be a fucking man and be original." Luke tells him while making a fist that turned his knuckles white and tightening his jaw.

"Yes you! I am so sick and tired of you walking around like you own the damn place. You are so full of shit and it's really start to piss me the fuck off."

"Well I don't give a fuck about how you feel. Leave people the fuck alone. Leave me the fuck alone. You're so obsessed with the idea of having everyone wrapped around your finger. Why don't you just make my day and fall off the face of the Earth." Luke yells at this point.

Just then Ryan walks closer to Luke and whispers something to him. No one but Luke heard what he had to say and doing that makes everyone want to know. After about a minute of complete silence, Ryan takes a step back and let's out a chuckle. Luke's face turns red as he push Ryan in the chest and storms out of the cafe. Maddie follows him like a lost puppy as Ryan turns to his friends.

"Well that was interesting." Justin states as we both get up and throw our trash away just as the bell rings. I nod as we walk out of the Cafe and to English.
As we walk to English the only thing we hear in the hallways was what just happened in the Cafe. I hear people talk about how it started and how it ended. I hear some people say that Luke started it and some people say that Ryan started it. I even heard someone say that Maddie started it, which isn't hard to believe. She loves drama. As the head of the school she can just stir anything up. She walks around with her little clique harassing people who can't fend for themselves. It's pathetic really.
