Lilly's P.O.V
----------
After waking up on Saturday, I have never felt so much peace from sleep in my life. I need to thank Luke for that.
Hm never thought I would say that.
Sadly that peace didn't stop the weekend from going by any faster.
It's now Monday and I'm at the end of art with Calum blabbing about some party he went to Saturday. He probably went to the same one as Luke."You should have came. It would have been so fun." He rambles while placing his notebook in his bag.
"Calum for like the millionth time, I do not go to parties." I say while rolling my eyes at him. He lets out a huff of laughter.
"Oh whatever. I bet you that your mom even wants you to experience your first high school party."
I groan because he was exactly right. My mom has always wanted me to be more social. For what reason I don't know but she wanted it to be that way. I mean having slight social anxiety when it comes to talking to people that I'm not comfortable being around or being around people I don't know is something I have no idea how to deal with. I get that she wants me to experience something like this before I head off to college like she did, but she never remembers that I'm not her and that I have my own life to live."Shut up." I tell him as I stick out my tongue at him making him laugh. I let out a small laugh before the bell rung dismissing us from class. He hops up and sling his bag over his shoulder, waiting for me as I move in a much slower fashion than him. He groans as I slowly walk around the table and try to put my notebook in my bag.
"Well shit Lilly if you move any slower, you'll be going backwards. It's actually good food for lunch today and I want to get there before it ends." He says while grabbing my wrist and dragging me out the classroom, bumping into people in the progress. I apologized for him as we scurry out of the art building and into the main building to go to my locker.
I swear to you, I can not keep up with Calum.
As we make it to my locker, I quickly toss everything that I didn't need in my locker and take out my English book and notebook. I close my locker and turn to Calum, who was impatiently tapping his foot.
"Okay calm down. I'm ready now." I tell him while we start walking towards the cafe.
"Yea after about ten thousand years." He retorted making me roll my eyes again.
"Oh boo-hoo. Don't be such a whiner." I tell him, shoving him slightly making him let out a laugh.
We continue to walk towards the cafe having small talk about nothing in general. He was telling me about how some fight happened at the party, but I toned him out. He talked about the argument slash fight for the whole walk to the Café. It kind of sounded interesting, but then again I kept tuning him out every now and then. I don't think he noticed that I was tuning him out because he was still talking up a storm."And then he punched him in the nose. We asked him why, but he said it wasn't important why he did it so we let it go." Calum ended as we make it to the Café. I didn't question who was in the fight because then it would be obvious I wasn't listening to him.
"What in the world would make him do that?" I say trying to sound confused.
"I don't know, but whatever it was really had him pissed off." Calum continues while we walk in and over to the line. I shake my head at the thought of someone getting in a fight probably over something silly. Violence is never the answer and people need to learn that.
As Calum and I make our way through the line we continue to have small talk about nothing in particular. He talks about him and the Riley girl that he's talking with. He keeps saying how cool and funny she is and also how he thinks he might asks her on a date. In my opinion, I think he should because he seems to really like her but what would I know about asking people out.
