So, first, I've noticed this story getting more attention lately, and that makes me really happy! For any new comers feeling discouraged by how long it's been since I updated, don't be: this story IS complete! I just need to post it lol. Which I will.
I've been pretty busy lately. I moved in with my long-term boyfriend, moved across the country, started a full-time job... busy life changes.
But I have a treat! I'm gonna mass-upload some chapters this Friday, and then I'll schedule regular Friday updates until the story is fully published.
I've also been playing with the idea of publishing this as an original story. I have a work-in-progress first draft for it currently.
I'm also maybe working on a completely new, original story? Idk if it's something you guys would read.
It takes place in the future, where you can physically transport yourself into the digital world, using a special headband (which will eventually have a cool kick-ass name for it). My main character, Charlie Monroe, falls through a glitch into the digital world - without a headband - right into the middle of a battleground! Turns out the digital world is fighting a war against a rebellion that reality knows nothing about. Before she can become bullet target practice, soldier Ichirro rushes in to her rescue, and together, they must work together to find a way home for Charlie, who, without a headband, can't get home normally and is essentially trapped in the digital world during a secret rebellion war. And if you die in the digital world, you die in reality, too - since the headband transports your entire physical body into the digital world.
I'm pretty excited about the idea but am still in the planning phase. I don't even have a title yet, but I'm work-shopping "Guide Me Home" as a story title. Idk though lol. If you're interested let me know I guess haha, I'll consider posting it here if enough people are interested. Otherwise if I ever finish/publish it, I'll advertise it eventually.
But anyway, I hope you all continue to stay tuned! This story will be finished!
