Week 11

The drama club discussed what plays we might want to perform next. We couldn't settle on a decision, but we had a few good contenders, and Kizano was satisfied enough with that before dismissing us to class.

As Kokona and I walked to class, arm in arm, she asked me, "So, are you and Osorō gonna get back together?"

I blushed. "I want to, but... I'm not sure."

Kokona's eyes lit up then. "What if you confessed to him underneath the cherry blossom tree? On Friday?"

I wrinkled my nose. "That cliche business? Are you sure he'll even be into that?"

"If it's you, I'm sure Osorō would be into anything," Kokona said, winking.

I blushed — darkly this time. "I don't even wanna know what you mean by that, Kokona Haruka."

She giggled. "Probably for the best, Athena-sama." Then, she unlinked her arm from mine as she headed down the hall to her class, while I approached the stairs. "See you at lunchtime?"

"Yep! Oh, but we might be at the outside cafeteria," I added.

"I'll be there!"

I walked into class, where Osorō was already waiting for me, sitting in his seat behind mine with a grin on his face. He held up a folded note between his index and middle fingers for me, and I took it from him as I sat down.

Unopening it, I read: Ya look beautiful as always, doll. — O

I blushed at the note, quickly getting a loose leaf paper to reply, when Megami walked up to my desk and said, "Athena-sama, may I speak to you privately?"

I gulped, wondering what she wanted. "S-sure."

"You're not in trouble, I assure you," she said as I stood to follow her into the hall. Once we were out there, Megami asked, "You were hospitalized during the play because of Aishi's attack, correct?"

At that, I stiffened. "Correct."

"You would play Belle if given the opportunity?"

"Yes. Where are you going with this?"

"Nowhere. That is all."

With that said, Megami walked back into the classroom without another word, and I followed inside. Osorō shot me a confused expression, to which I merely shrugged.

I sat down and scribbled a note back in response to his, saying, And you look handsome as always. — A.A.

Why thank ya, doll. — O

Of course, Oso — A.A.

Oso?

You have a nickname for me. Figured you'd get one too.

I thought my nickname was "Secret Softie"

I smirked. Do you actually accept that nickname?

His reply was swift: No.

I giggled as the teacher walked in and started the class, taking my focus away from note-passing and onto note-taking — while Osorō absentmindedly played with my hair, of course.
