What Comes Next?

Hi everyone :) so as this story finally comes to its end, there's a few things I wanted to say.

The first is, thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. This is one of my most proudest works, and I'm pleased to see its entirety posted somewhere an audience can read it and give feedback. And everyone's feedback has been valuable and has meant so much to me! It's inspired me as a writer to keep writing, so maybe one day I can become a real author someday :)

I've also received quite a few offers to turn this story into a visual novel/webtoon (none of which have gone unnoticed, I promise!), but at the moment it is a financial decision I am unable to make. However it is definitely something I am interested in and will keep in mind, so if ever "Underneath the Moonlight: the Manga" comes to life... stay tuned ;) I'll keep you guys posted if I collab with an artist for that project! It would be a dream come true for me to see a story I wrote come to life like that, especially one I'm so proud of like this story.

The second is, obviously I want to keep writing. And I've been thinking long and hard about which story I want to introduce to you all next. I have a few ideas, one of which is a MysMe story called Red Roses and Strings, and I have another work-in-progress idea that would be an interactive story, meaning you the reader chooses what happens next. That story would be about a high school game developer who creates a cozy game where you take care of a girl in her house — until the girl becomes sentient and enters the real world to be with him. It would be a romance/horror/thriller.

Aside from these ideas, there are a few other projects I've been debating: A "What If?" spin-off story for Underneath the Moonlight, which will include "What If?" scenarios like, "What if Athena Akiyama was actually a rival?", for example, and how Ayano would handle that; and other little fun scenarios that you normally wouldn't normally see in the story.

I've also kinda been playing with the idea of a One-Shot Fandom book, to get an idea of what kind of fandoms you guys are into that I might be able to write fics for.

I've also debated a "What If?" third-year at Akademi story, but I'm not quite yet sure how that would go - and adding to that, I've also debated a full-fledged sequel for this story, titled "In the Spotlight" and taking place a few years after graduation, in which the main POV switches between Athena and Aru every one or two chapters, showing how they've been navigating their new lives after school in their chosen status positions (in which Athena has become a world-famous pop singer, ATHENA, and Aru has begun starting to take over his father's business, Akiyama Fashions, as well as the struggles within their personal relationships with their family and lovers).

As of right now, the only project I still have on Wattpad after this story ends is my BotW story "Chasing Magic" which I haven't written in a bit. "Red Roses and Strings" will most likely be my next big project posted here, but I also just wanted to gather general opinion on what people might want to see from me. I've been lacking inspiration lately and trying to find some in places I normally wouldn't look, so I figured asking from you all might be a good place to start :)
