Week 5 (Weekend)

Friday night, Osorō drove me home, after my father texted telling me to come home. Aru apparently hadn't gotten into that much trouble for letting me out — and even got our father to calm down. He actually wasn't that upset when I arrived home.

Then, Saturday, I got ready for the day and met Osorō at the mall. I wore my mint shirt and a white jeans outfit, with my mint heels, and my butterfly purse. Osorō wore a black mask over his nose and mouth, to hide his face, and a dark denim jean jacket with fur lining the inside, a ripped white hoodie underneath it, black ripped skinny jeans, and black Converse sneakers.

I smiled when I saw him waiting for me outside. He lowered his mask and grinned at me as I ran towards him. I was about to barrel into his arms, when he stopped me and whispered, "Aren't we supposed to stay secret?"

"O-oh," I muttered, blushing darkly. "Y-yeah, you're probably right."

Putting his mask back on, he took his jacket off and threw it around me, then handed me a mask, too. "Put this on. We're gonna go see a movie."

I put the mask on with a nod. "Okay, which one?"

He chuckled, pulled up his hood, and grabbed my hand. We were in full incognito mode right now. "You'll see," was all he had to say as he led the way.

Before we went to the movie theater, he got me a mango smoothie at the cafe nearby. How'd he know I like mango the best? I wondered, with a small smile. Then, we snuck the drink inside the theater, where he led me into a rom-com — the newest one, in fact, it had just released today. I smiled. He wanted to cheer me up after yesterday.

I only had a few seconds to remember about yesterday before Osorō led me into some seats, lowered both of our masks, and left a lingering kiss on my lips in the darkness of the theater.

"Hey," he whispered, grinning at me after the sneaky kiss.

"H-hi," I whispered back, leaning closer on the palms of my hands — and I was sure my eyes must've looked like hearts in that moment.

But it was okay. Because so did his as he stared at me.

"Ya know, doll, this is basically our first date," he whispered.

My eyebrows shot up. "Oh, so it's a date now?"

He blushed. "Wasn't it obvious? We're watching a rom-com."

I giggled. "You've got a point there."

He leaned in and kissed my cheek. "I'mma get some snacks before the movie starts."

I nodded. "Okay, sounds good."

He ruffled my hair, then pulled up the hood of the jacket he'd put on me before he left, me giggling behind him. I waited patiently for him to return with snacks, and when he did, he'd gotten a large thing of popcorn, and an ICEESlush frozen drink for himself, since I had my smoothie we snuck in. He sat next to me, setting his drink down and the popcorn carefully in between us on the ground. Then, he lifted the armrest dividing us and wrapped his arm around me, pulling me in closer as the movie started.

I could feel his heartbeat as I leaned against his chest, and the sound made me blush so hard, I missed the beginning few seconds of the movie. I tried hard to pay attention, occasionally grabbing my drink or popcorn, but it was difficult, being this close to Osorō in a way I'd never been before. The movie was good overall, though, with Osorō even kissing me at the cheesy romantic scenes, making me smile.
