Week 6 (Weekend)

The weekend was a wonderful filled few days of passion and excitement as I laid low at Osorō's, neither of us willing to risk my safety by sending me home in case Ayano was waiting for me.

I debated going to the police — but there was no evidence I could pin against her except for maybe my wounds. Ayano wore gloves, so her fingerprints wouldn't show up on any of the throwing knives she attacked me with.

I had to admit, Ayano Aishi was good. Much scarier than Emily was — and much more dangerous. She'd done enough damage to me that I could potentially get someone to keep an eye on her — but not convict her for any crimes.

She had me backed into a corner, and I couldn't even tell anyone, or I knew she'd silence me — forever.

Sunday, I sat in front of the TV with Osorō next to me, watching another rerun of Friends. I was deep in thought, however, contemplating what my next move should be. After a while, Osorō realized I wasn't really watching TV. "Hey, doll. Whatcha thinkin' so hard on?"

I shook my head, shaking myself out of my trance. "Ayano, actually..." At that, he stiffened. "I'm wondering if I should tell anyone... or if the teachers wouldn't take me seriously again. They didn't when I told them about the body I found... Thankfully, everyone I told at school believed me, but..."

Osorō's hand fell on my shoulder. "Hey, it'll be alright. We'll figure it out. In any case, I'm gonna stay by your side and protect you. She won't hurt ya on my watch."

I smiled. "I know. I trust you."

He smiled, too — a cute, boyish smile. "Good, because you're safe with me."

I leaned over to kiss him, and his hand tangled into my hair as he kissed me back. I gently cupped his face in my hands, and he slowly lowered me down onto the couch, then pulled back, hovering over me with a wicked grin.

"Hey, one more go before I take ya home?"

I giggled. "Why not?"
