Demi's POV
Hearing Nick say that he wanted to get married, left me speechless. I watched as he sat there, waiting for me to answer. Finally, I opened my mouth to speak,"No," I said, trying to form a complete sentence, but that was all that came out.
I watched as a sad look appeared on Nick's face, "What?" He said, as he sat back a little with defeat.
"Nick, we just got back together. We have been through so much, and things have been so iffy, I don't think we anywhere near ready for marriage," I said, trying to explain myself to him.
"I mean, I know we haven't been real stable this past month, but I figured you wouldn't want to have a baby, without being married first. I mean, we really should start to think about what the doctor-"
"Nick, I don't want to talk about this with you," I blantly said, trying not to sound too harsh. I continued to stare at the TV, while Nick just kept his eyes glued to me.
"But it's something that really needs to be discussed," he quietly continued to say.
I quickly looked over at him and let out a deep sigh, "I just don't think I am ready to deal with it right now. I don't want to even think about it. I want to just forget that this even happened. I don't want to even think of the possibility of never having children-"
"Demi, the doctor said if there is a chance, it's now rather than later. You can possibly have a kid! We can have a family!" He said with excitement. It was weird hearing Nick talk about us being a family, but it gave me faith that he really did want to be with me long term.
"Exactly.. possibly.. There is no guarantee, Nick. I guess I just don't want to come to terms with this yet. I just want to sit here, with my boyfriend, and get my mind taken off of the last few days, and especially off of what the doctor said. I want to just escape, and feel something, anything," I said, almost letting out a sob.
"Well.." Nick said as he scooted over next to me and brought his lips close to mine. "I can help take your mind off of things, and make you feel something," he said with a coy smile as he leaned in for a gentle kiss.
After our lips touched, I quickly leaned back and gave him a nudge. "Not to make you uncomfortable, but I can't do anything until I'm done bleeding. If I sit and make out with you, it's just going to make me want to f.uck you, and I can't," I said with a pout. Nick looked at me and laughed.
"Babe, I know you can't have sex. I wasn't referring to sex. I just had to kiss you because I couldn't resist those sweet lips," he said as he brushed his finger along my cheek. "Why don't you lie down and I'll give you a massage and help you relax," he said as he stood up and waited for me to move. I stared at him in disbelief.
"Wow, I would have never expected you to offer me a massage. Nick Jonas has turned soft," I said with a laugh, as I got up, and followed him to the bedroom. I laid down on the bed, face down, in my panties, and waited for Nick to grab the lotion. When He came back and saw me, he let out a whistle.
"Damn, it's going to be hard straddling you, from behind, without sticking my manhood deep inside you," he said as he made his way on the bed and started to straddle me. I let out laugh and shook my head. I laid there as Nick slowly ran his hands along my body. As he gently rubbed my shoulders, I slowly drifted off into my happy place.
The rest of our week pretty much consisted of the same thing. Nick ended up taking the week off with me, and helped me whenever I needed it. He was always doing something for me, whether that be cooking, cleaning, massaging me, or just trying to make me smile. I knew that I would have to reward him sooner or later.
