Demi's POV

As soon as Wilmer left, I made sure to latch both locks on the door. I wasn't taking my chances tonight. Nobody was going to come through that door again. I turned, and made my way towards my bedroom. With Marissa practically living with her boyfriend, I, of course, was all alone. I let out a sigh, just as I walked into my room. I decided to just go ahead and ignore the remaining mess that was left on my bedroom floor, and just crawl into bed. As I was laying there, I could feel my heart beginning to race as I thought all about the events of today. Was I safe here? Were they going to come back? Who was even behind all of this? I needed, and wanted answers, but the more I thought about it, the more I found myself tossing and turning. Eventually I couldn't take it anymore. I sat up in my bed, and picked up my phone. I called the only person who could make me feel better right now.

"Mr. Jonas?" I spoke softly into the phone, once I heard him pick up on the other end.

"Is everything okay, Demi? Did something happen?" He asked me with a worried voice.

"I am sorry for calling you so late. I just am having trouble sleeping. I can't sleep knowing that someone broke into my place just hours ago. I keep thinking that someone is going to come back through my door, or something bad is going to happen. I am here all alone, and it is scaring the shit out of me," I said into the phone.

"Well, if it will make you feel better, you can come over here for the night. Maybe once we get those camera's installed tomorrow, you will feel a lot safer when nobody is home," he said to me.

"Yeah, maybe, at least, I hope so. You really wouldn't mind me coming over and crashing there tonight?" I hesitantly asked him.

"No, It is fine. How about, I come over and get you in about fifteen minutes. You can just meet me downstairs in the parking garage. I will see you soon, okay," he said and then quickly hung up the phone before I could say anything. Once I got off the phone a smile emerged on my face. I got up out of bed, and then gathered some clothes and pajamas to take over with me. Once I was ready, I walked downstairs, and met Mr. Jonas down in the parking garage. I was surprised to see that he was the one to pick me up this time, and not his driver.

"A little daring, don't you think? You picking me up," I said as I got in the car and looked over at him. He just sat there with a sexy grin on his face while his hand rested on the gear stick. I smiled over at him, and shut the door.

"Don't worry, I checked like four times. Nobody followed me here," He said as he shifted his white Maserati into drive. I laid my head back on the headrest and watched as Mr. Jonas zoomed in and out of traffic. Throughout the drive we stayed pretty silent. There were times when I would peek over at him, and he would be staring at me, which would just cause me to smile. The car ride was fast. Once the car slowed down, I knew we had arrived. We pulled up to a long drive way that almost felt never ending. We soon approached a house that was gorgeously lit up.

"Wow, This is where you live?" I asked him as I looked out the window and saw the lights that hung from the trees.

"Yup. This is it. Pretty sweet, huh?" He said as he slowed down, waiting for the gate to open up.

"It is breathtaking! This is a huge house, don't you ever get lonely?" I asked as I looked back over at him. He tilted his head, wiggled his eyebrows, and laughed.

"Demi, please. I never am lonely," he said with a smirk. I just rolled my eyes and looked away. He really did think that he was God's gift to the world, but for some reason, I was finding myself to be more and more drawn to him. When the gates finally opened, Mr. Jonas continued to drive, and parked the car by his other three cars that say in the drive way.
