Demis POV

I woke up the next morning to Wilmer kissing me on my cheek, and whispering that he was going to jump in the shower. He told me that I was welcome to join him if I wanted to. A soft smile emerged on my face, and I just let out a small chuckle. " I think im going to just lay here, and relax for a few more minutes. You go ahead, baby," I said as I rubbed his arm.

"Okay, Love. I will only be a few minutes," he said as he got up, and disappeared into the bathroom. I continued to lay there, with my arm propped behind my head, and my eyes staring up at the ceiling. I began to think about the meeting that I was going to be having with Mr. Jonas in the next couple of hours, and I could feel myself beginning to get really stressed out. All I could think about was that I hoped that I was doing the right thing by continuing to work for JOCO. I mean, I know that I am lying to Wilmer about it, but it is only for the time being. Just until Mr. Jonas can figure out who is blackmailing me. I just hope that this doesn't come back to bite me in the ass, and that Wilmer never has to find out. I continued to lay there, and stare off into space, until I heard Wilmer clear his throat. "You okay there, Dem?" He asked me as he stood there with his towel wrapped around his waist. I turned my head to look at him. I look him up and down, and just smiled.

"Oh, yeah, I am okay. I was just day dreaming. Nothing important," I said as I continued to look over at him with a smile on my face. I sat up a little bit, and watched as he started to get dressed. "What time do you have to go into work today?" I asked him.

"Babe, don't you remember, I told you that I am off today. I was thinking that we could go out and have a day to ourselves. Maybe we can go out, grab some lunch, do a little shopping? It may make you feel better about quitting your job," he said as he pulled his shirt over his head. I just watched him, and tried not to panic. I completely forgot that Wilmer was off work today. I wasn't sure how I was going to get out of hanging out with him for the whole day, but I knew that I had to think of something good, and quick! I had a meeting with Mr. Jonas in about three hours, so that didn't leave much time to do much of anything with Wilmer. I must have been taking a while to answer because Wilmer leaned towards me, and spoke again. "Dem? What do you think? Why don't you go get ready, so we can get going?" he asked with raised eyebrows, and his big dorky smile on his face. I just laughed, and then went to stand up.

"Babe, I am so sorry. I completely forgot that you had today off. I have plans today with a friend of mine actually. I am free for lunch, but then, after that, I have to get going," I casually said, so I didn't look suspicious.

"Who is your friend? What are you guys going to do? Maybe I can tag along, too," he said as he reached for my hand to bring me closer to him. I looked up at him, and gave him a quick kiss.

"You don't know her. She is new to NYC. I met her this past week when Marissa and I went to the lounge down, the street, for drinks. I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable by bringing my boyfriend along with us," I said as I pulled away from Wilmer, and walked towards the bathroom. He followed closely behind.

"Well, why would she be uncomfortable, Demi?" He asked confusedly.

"I just mean, I don't want her to feel like the third wheel. I want her to have fun, and feel comfortable. Why don't you come over later tonight? We can hang out, and spend some time together then," I said with a smile on my face. Wilmer just looked annoyed. He let out a sigh, and went to walk away.

"I will let you know, I was going to meet the guys for some drinks later tonight," he said over his shoulder. "Lets just go ahead and grab lunch before you have to meet up with your friend," he said once more, and then disappeared from the room entirely. I just rolled my eyes, and continued to get ready in the bathroom. Once I was all ready, I went out to the living room, and saw Wilmer just sitting there on his phone, waiting for me.
