'Oh my god, I think I had a bad childhood' 'Yeah, I know'

hey besties, it's time for my favourite game, Who Will Be The First To Make Someone Say 'Oh, it could be worse.'

Here's the rules, you write down something that kinda fucked you up but not in a way that's so terrible that you would get sympathy from the majority of people.

Here's my entry;

I'm a big reader and writer, I learnt how to read when I was three or four and started coming up with stories even earlier. Language fascinated me, and I had an incredibly advanced vocabulary for my age.

Once in class (I think it was fifth or sixth grade) we had to write essays, I was really into the topic so I put a ton of effort into mine (Tons of research, looking up new words to use, working on it at home) and I wrote what I consider some of my best work.

But then my English teacher says "You can't just copy-paste, you need to put the information in your own words."

 So then for the next two years I dumbed down my writing when it would be something a teacher would see because I was scared of getting called a cheat, and now that we're in an age of AI generated stories, I'm terrified that folks might accuse me of not actually writing what I write.
