OC stuff again!

I'm yapping about my OCs because I need people to see and hear about them, also to get you guys into my long ass fantasy series project!

Today I'm gonna introduce you to each realms ruler/leaders!

For a little context, each realm is based on a real world cultures mythology. In these realms all the mythical creatures are real, and the whole existence of them is hidden from humans. There's no way I can add every single country and cultures mythology into the story, there's literally hundreds out there. But lore wise, they DO all exist in universe. Some are allies, some aren't, some are discovered and some aren't, some are very modern and some are super ancient. So a realm akin to your cultures mythology DOES exist in this universe, I just can't write about every single one of them. But by all means if you have any ideas based on hire culture and mythology, I'd love to hear it. What mythical creatures would exist, what the ruler would be, if they're super traditional or more relaxed. It's all fun to think about.

There are also multicultural realms, that are home to mythical beings that span across multiple cultures. I found that some cultures have essentially the exact same creature with the only difference really being the language. And there's also some folklore creatures that aren't really tied to any one place, the concept is worldwide. So I grouped up those creatures based on similarities (e.g. "dark magic" beings or "holy" beings) and put them all in their own realm. Example, the idea of a vampire is so widespread there's not really one origin point. Most think of Transylvania bc of Dracula but so many places have their version of a vampire or blood sucking being I put vampires into a realm based on "dark" beings. Whereas there's enough deference between cultures when it comes to half-aquatic beings, I put them all into their own cultural realms even if the general look is what one would consider a mermaid. A Greek siren style mermaid, the Celtic selkie and the Japanese ningyo are too different to be lumped together as just a mermaid.

Izroulia (Greco Roman)
The main magic realm the story takes place in, while the main characters aren't royals the one of them is the childhood friend of the main character, so they play a big part in the story.

Izroulia runs on a unique monarchy democracy mix, where the major decisions and laws are voted on by the people, but there's a royal family that signs off on it all. The current rulers are:

Haru(ki) Nishikino-Ray
A dragon who was born on the Greek side of the realm but grew up in the Italian side. Was named after a family friend who wasn't ethnically Izroulian, hence the non Greco Roman name. But he is fully Izroulian. Originally just Haru Ray, but when he married his now husband they hyphenated their last names. He was raised by a single mother in low class conditions after escaping an abusive father at age 5, and left school early at 16 to do a potion brewery apprenticeship. Has zero royal blood, but gained the throne after helping overthrow the previous bigoted queen, the crown was offered to him by his best friend and ringleader of the rebellion as they didn't feel they'd be fit to rule. He took it to fix the broken system and provide a safe and happy life for his mother and future husband.

Micha Nisinko-Ray
Micha (Michaelis), a wrath demon, was born in Izroulia but is ethnically a sinner from the realm of Sin. His parents moved to Izroulia when his mother found out she was pregnant because the cost of living in their home realm was just way too high to support a child. He ended up autistic, and didn't speak until he was 5 when he suddenly rapidly developed his academic intelligence. But his social skills, sensory issues and outward stimming make him look very obviously autistic. He did well in primary school, as he was sent to one specifically for special needs kids. But due to his intelligence he won a scholarship to the very prestigious private school in the area. Wanting to become a historian, he took it. Unfortunately that school gave him zero accommodations and he ended up severely bullied leading to him developing CPTSD and his hair turning white from the extreme stress. He fell into a deep self destructive state, and eventually dropped out at 16 to finish school remotely. It was after he dropped out and began to recover he met Haru and the two ended up together. Now he's married into royalty he's technically also a king, and has the offical title of royal historian and archivist.
