Babies first birthday!

AND ITS MY BABIES FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!

AHHHHHH OMG I CAN'T BELIVE ITS BEEN A WHOLE YEAR!?!? I feel like I was pregnant literally yesterday omg. It has been a wild but rewarding experience so far that's for sure. He's our first ever NPC, I was the first alter to experience pregnancy and birth and have a biological kid. My little family has been a lot of firsts for this system.

He's been growing at the same rate as a regular baby, although given his godly features there have been a few extra details we've noted. We're definitely entering the little rascal stage now, he's a big babbler and has started talking, I'm going to have to start weaning him off breastfeeding soon, he's standing up with support which means walking will be soon. No floating yet... that'll be one hell of an experience. My mum had to put a net over me and my twins crib when we were godlings because we couldn't control our floating at first haha. Walking also means the flaming feet he inherited from Zag will start kicking in, he's gonna be leaving singed footprints all over the headspace if Zag doesn't teach him how to control it asap. So far he's managed to pick up mama and dada, nap (which was his first word, truly my child), blanket (which comes out as bankie), ni nis, teddy (expect it comes out as tebby) , up, and recognises Moros is his uncle and calls him Momos which AAGHGHHHH HES SO CUTE.

He's definitely trying to say the names of the alters but he's not quite got the hang of them yet. Some of us have long complex names after all, I can't blame him for thinking 'Ahkmenrah' and 'Astarion' are difficult. He figured out he can move his wings at will too, which is very entertaining because he'll just decide to start flapping them at random and he thinks it's so funny. Anything with wings entertains him for some reason. My wing, Zachs wings, Astarion's bat form, they all make him laugh so much.

He's a total Velcro baby, he has to be around me or Zag 24/7. He gets so fussy if we leave him for too long. He's truely a mix of his parents, because he's got my sleepiness and love for cuddles. But has these bursts of energy that definitely come from Zag. I have NO idea how those two can roughhouse for hours without immediately passing out.

Speaking of Zag, I am SO proud of him. He's been nothing but supportive and loving from the moment Morphie was conceived up to right now. I don't know how that man dealt with me when I was pregnant, I was an absolute WRECK. And he's still going strong, waking up in the middle of the night to take care of Morphie, keeping him entertained and supervised, tracking all the milestones, dealing with all my cooing and tears over how fast he's growing up already. To say I love that man is an understatement, I absolutely adore him. He's the best father a godling could ask for, and the best partner I could ask for.

So today me, Zag and whoever wanted to join spent the day in the headspace having a little party for him. Playing with him, birthday cake (that me made a massive mess with) and presents. Given Somnia has host things to do in the front, they contributed with a drawing which-

I could yap about my bub for ages, but he has a bedtime I need to deal with. But I couldn't not make a little yap post, I'm very sappy about him. And the fact it's been a whole year still feels surreal.
