Museum trip + Ahk!

Hellooooo I'm Ahk! I could have sworn I made an introduction but apparently I didn't??? So I'll do a quick one while I infodump some cool stuff I did recently!

I'm an introject from NATM and I've actually been around since like... 2010. But Somnia didn't know about me until they were aware of the system as a whole, I'm the reason they got BACK into NATM. NATM was THE sleepover movie for us as a kid, we watched it religiously so it's no wonder I showed up. Although I'm surprised I didn't come with a Jed or Octavius, since we have a habit of splitting in pairs.

I hold onto memories from a certain era of our life, and help Zag and Hypnos with some witchy stuff.

Physically I'm 18, but I mean I'm an undead ancient Egyptian mummy pharaoh so I'm actually 3000. And I'm one of the few alters that has a set birthday! The 14th of may 1105. I'm very old. L has a set birthday, so does somnia. But no one else, it's just us three.

I'm into ancient history of course, mythology and folk magic and beading. I make lots of jewellery in my time in the front, and I have a soft spot for dolls, I have a lot of the childhood memories of playing with them.

If we get into university for ancient history, I'll be helping somnia with it because that's right up my alley. Even though the course is classical Greece and Rome, there's some overlap with Egypt so I'm still into it. Plus, my tiny general source buddy is Roman, it'd be nice to learn about his culture.

Speaking of source, I actually found two source mates in another system recently! It's very nice to talk to a sourcemate, they just get all the exomemories you know? I can confirm from my own exomemories as well as theirs that jedtavius is absolutely real and canon and they're married and they smooched. I am their biggest shipper. My exomemories are a bit blurry here and there, but I am severely claustrophobic from being in that damn sarcophagus and I have the clearest memory of my mum asking "Ahkmen why are you soaked?" And child me replying "I wanted to play mermaids"

My mother and father were great, I miss them a lot. My brother? Ehhhhhh he kind of killed me so... no thanks.

Anyway, let's move into the cool thing I did! I want to info dump on someone :).

Recently we went to the museum which had just been through a huge renovation and had an ancient Egyptian exhibit on, so of course I had to snatch the front. Here's some of the cool stuff that was there.

This offering slate that was incredibly well preserved. Like imagine being an archeologist and digging this up, barely any damage to it and everything still completely legible? My soul would leave my body.
