It was common knowledge by now, that Seulbi was a bit of a wimp. Rollercoasters and haunted houses weren't quite her favorites, and there had a been a staggering amount of those scary rides scattered around Europa Park. After much huffing and puffing, she'd managed to convince the rest of the group to accompany her on a much more relaxing attraction: a nice ride in little boats, cute decor and chipper music to boot.
Well, the plan had been for it to be relaxing — unfortunately, as soon as she'd stepped into the boat, her heart had done more loops in her chest than she would have on a rollercoaster. Wonbin had come to sit next to her at the bow of the boat, without saying a word. He'd been even more silent than usual today, a cap over his head in an attempt to avoid being recognized. In fact, the disguise had almost allowed Seulbi to forget he was here to begin with... Until now.
But Seulbi was determined to act inconspicuous, and she was not about to let her nervousness show now. She simply sat down, her knees pressed together, trying to ignore his presence next to her as best as she could. The sway of the boat as it started drew her eye to her surroundings, and she focused on the sound of water rippling under them, rather than that of her own heart.
She'd almost achieved a base level of inner peace when another boat came into view. This one contained the other half of their friend group, with Seunghan sitting at its front, wearing a far too giddy smile for the occasion. He laughed and cheered like he was on a much more exciting ride and, when his eyes landed on their boat, they took on a mischievous glint.
Before she could realize what he was doing, Seunghan had already leaned over the side of the boat, dipping his fingers in the water. It was only when he flicked his hand out sharply, and sent droplets her way, that Seulbi reacted. Her first instinct was to fold over herself, wrapping her arms around the top of her head.
"Eek, don't do that!" she screeched, debating between keeping her eyes shut to avoid getting water in them, or sending him a death glare. "I literally straightened my hair last night!"
Whether it was because he hadn't heard her over the sound of the water he was splashing around, or because he simply did not care, Seunghan continued anyway. A wet drop landed on Seulbi's cheek, and she yelped, shielding herself like she was under a shower of missiles.
