Sangah had only been provided a small purse to go with her gown, but she was starting to think she should have just come armed with a backpack. Conversation had never been easier than in this place, and she'd amassed a staggering amount of business cards, so many they were threatening to burst out of her bag. When she would go back to her hotel, probably exhausted by the event, she would have to parse through all of them and get rid of the useless ones.

The one she was about to get now would probably not be very useful. Just as she'd left one group of entrepreneurs in search of her friends, she'd been harpooned by an older lady, hunched and small. In the softest, but shakiest voice, she'd started talking about her own organization, involved in the conservation of century old trees, and Sangah had had no choice but to listen. Who knew what hidden gems an otherwise uninteresting conversation might hold for someone patient enough?

"I totally agree," she honeyed, putting a hand on the old woman's shoulder. "Trees are the lungs of our Earth. We must find a way to preserve them."

"Right, right, young lady. You know, not many people your age are interested in our efforts. At our fundraisers..."

Nope, no hidden gem in there. Sangah tuned out the rest of the woman's words, but kept her smile firmly on her face. When the old lady slipped a business card in her hand and finally moved on to another victim, she let out a sigh of relief.

She, too, turned around to look for a victim of her own, only for her eyes to land on Eunseok. He stood just a few meters from her, watching her sternly, a nearly empty glass in his hand. Sangah pursed her lips. He'd taken to watching her lately, ever since he'd followed her out of that lounge. Ever the gentleman, he hadn't brought the subject back up since... But something in his gaze had changed. Well, it was more often on her, to begin with.

Donning her usual smile, she closed the distance between them. He did not step back even as her shoes nearly bumped into his.

"What in the world are you doing?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Networking, obviously." She slipped yet another card in her bag, pressing it to the side so it would fit. "There are a lot of interesting people here, you should talk to some of them."
