Chapter 16

  Caroline's POV

I was dreading telling the boys because like everyone else they will judge me.

Not that I couldn't handle it. Growing up in foster homes could possibly be the worse thing to ever happen to a child.

You never know who you will end up with next. They could genuinely want a child or genuinely want the check that comes with us.

After twelve years of nobody showing up for parent teacher conferences or for career day, I'm looking forward to graduating this year.

I just want to escape from it all.
  Escape from myself.

We made it back to the boys, of course no one said anything.

"Shawn you're right, I did lie to you guys." I paused just so I could gather my thoughts.

"I got it from my foster dad." I said shamefully.

It was really quiet after that.
No one daring to say anything to break the silence.

Then Shawn got up and came over to me reaching his arms out.

In instinct I flinched. I could see hurt wash through his eyes, but quickly replaced with pity.

He hugged me, and it didn't take long until we had one big Magcon group hug.

None of us really wanted to play anymore after that.

"Let's go to the pool I got to tan these breasts." Nash said causing everyone to laugh.

"Wait we don't have any bathing suits." I said.
"Oh I got some no problem." Mahogany said linking her arms with mine and Sam's.

Now when I say Mahogany had entire bag of bathing suits I'm not kidding.

She handed me a bright pink bikini. It was simple  but pretty to say the least.

As I was changing in the bathroom I looked up at myself. There was bruises covering my stomach and legs like a blanket.

I walked out of the bathroom about to cry again.

" I can't go out there like this" I said sadly.
They both looked at me.

Sam stood up and walked over to me.
"Look they know about your foster dad now, and they didn't judge you. You will be perfectly fine, if anything they will feel protective of you now." She said.

It didn't help much but I didn't want to upset her.

So I did it.
The pool at the back of the hotel was empty other than us and the boys.
They didn't say anything yet because I was wearing a shirt and shorts over the bikini.

I just stood there until I was the last person not in the pool.

"You coming?" Cameron asked swimming to the side of the pool.

Damn he was hot.
"Umm yeah." I said I turned around and slowly slid my shirt off.

I was considering just wearing my shorts in, but I didn't have any more clothes.
So I took my shorts off.

I walked to edge and felt all eyes on me. I was about to just turn around, but a hand grabbing mine held me back.

"It's okay, we don't see you any different." Cameron whispered.

I slowly made my way into the pool with Cameron's assistance.

"See it's not so bad." He said with an award winning smile.
I gave a small smile, but I don't think he saw it because Matt threw a beach ball at his head.

We all laughed when he threw a fake tantrum.

Maybe this wasn't going to be that bad.

I swam over to Sam. "Now we just have to get me on this tour." I whispered.

"Oh trust me I will make it happen." She said.
