Chapter 17
 
Caroline's POV 

We swam for like a hour. After the last game of Marco Polo Matt go tired of people throwing the football at him when it was his turn,so we decided to go get something to eat.

   As I was putting my shorts and shirt back on Shawn came up next to me.
  "Hey you ready?" He asked with his adorable Canadian accent.

  "Uhh yeah sure." I said slipping my shoes back on.

  He walked beside me to the rest of the group. He was so close I could literally feel the heat coming off of his body.

   "Okay where are we going?" Matt asked.

"There is this little karaoke cafe about 3 blocks over." Cameron said.

  "Maybe Shawn or Jacob can sing something, get us some free food." Cameron said putting his arm over Sam's shoulder.

I was jealous yes, but she's my best friend.

"Leggo!" Nash yelled grabbing his wallet. 

  Shawn still hasn't left my side.

"Soo Caroline, I was wondering if we could swap numbers and grab a coffee sometime during the tour with out the other boys and I don't know maybe" he kept rambling.

  "Yes of course Shawn." I said covering his mouth with my hand.
  He licked me and I pulled back quick.

  He handed me his phone and I did the same.

I could see Cameron out of the corner of my eye glaring at us. Dafuq?

  Finally about 10 minutes later we made it to the cafe.
   "Table for umm all of us." Nash said.

   We all giggled but Taylor straight up died laughing, earning a glare from the waiter.

   "Why don't you go sing something Shawn?" Hayes asked.

"Umm I don't know there's quite a lot of people in here" he said nervously.

  "Boy stop being so humble, you perform for hundreds to thousands of screaming fans all the time" Jack j said.

Shawn looked around then locked eyes on me. Of course he was sitting next to me though.

"Alright fine" he said getting up.

He talked to the person playing the
music for 2 middle aged women singing girls just wanna have fun.

  He shot us a thumbs up and we all cheered.
Of course the women singing thought it was for them and came over offering autographs on napkins.

"Umm my name is Shawn and I will be singing an original I've been working on. I wrote it last night actually about a girl I met." He said and grabbed a pick for his guitar.

  "It's called I don't even know your name" and with that he began to sing.

   Ohh you waited so long
Sometimes it's hard to stand out
You don't have to do anything else
But be yourself
You, you dressed up so nice
But all I could see was your eyes
Then the crowd came and pulled you away
And then you were gone

All I remember is that smile on your face
And it will kill me everyday

  The song was amazing. But who was it about.

  Everyone cheered as he made his way back to the table.

"Good job man" Aaron said doing that little handshake that guys do.

"Alright shadow girl your turn." Cameron said.
