Chapter 23

  Caroline's POV

"Shawn why were you crying?" I asked worriedly.

  "Why do you care?" He said shutting the door.
  I left shocked in the middle of a hotel hallway.

  I wasn't ready to face anyone yet.

So I did what I always do when I'm upset.

  I sing.

  I went down to the ballroom that Sam and I found before.
  Of course I could only play with one hand so it was quite difficult.

  But I managed and I sang one of my favorite songs, see you again.

  It reminds me of my parents so much. It hard sometimes without them, but that's why I sing.

  I play the first chords, with my good hand and pictured my parents.

  It's been a long day

  As soon as I finished the song my phone vibrated.

  They miss you to, but you should be careful where you sing. If I keep catching you then someone else might to:/ XOXO ~your biggest fan

  I quickly looked around, but saw no one.
   I was completely freaked out. The entire walk back to my room I kept looking over my shoulder.

  As I was walking past Shawn's room he was singing again. It was the exact same song from earlier.

   When I got back to my room the girls were filming a video for Mahogany's channel.

  After 2 hours of them filming we all went to bed.

  My phone vibrated again, but it wasn't the random number it was Cameron.

   He sent me a picture of all the boys in his room filming.
With the caption #getoutofmyroombeforeisuffocateyouwithapillowpet

   I shook my head and plugged my phone in before drifting asleep.

  I woke up and there were whispers everywhere.  I figured it was just the girls waking up.

  I soon found out it was all of the boys when a bucket of water was dumped on me.

  I sat up a noticed the little shits even put the plastic on my cast so it wouldn't get wet.

"Okay 1. I hate all of you, and 2. Why are all of you shirtless?" I said getting up and grabbing a towel.

  "Awww come on babe you know you like our abs" Cameron said rolling his body.

  "I will get you guys back" I said going into the bathroom to change.

  Where the hell was Shawn though.

Thankfully only Cameron was still in the room after I got dressed.
  Now he had a shirt on. I frowned looking at his Magcon hoodie.

  "Don't worry bae you will be seeing a lot of my sexy body" he said.

"Oh please what body?" I said laughing.

  He pulled up his shirt showing his perfect abs.
  "Uh this one" he said.

  "Shit we're late!" I said holding the door for him.

  When we got to the lobby the fans that were outside went crazy when they saw Cameron.

  They were still outside, but security might want to double up.

   The meet and greet was going great. Some girls even asked to take a picture with me.

I look over and see Cameron doing a staged kiss with a fan.
I couldn't help but get a little jealous.

  "What you actually think Cameron would ever like you?"

I turn around and there is 3 girls all wearing Nash shirts and Taylor bandanas.
  "Uh yeah I do" I said putting my hand on my hip.

  She was about to say something, but Cameron made his way over and kissed me on the cheek.

  "Hey babe" he said looking at the girls.
   Let's just say their mouths almost touched the floor. "I see you met my girlfriend" he said singing a poster for one of the girls.

  "Yes we did, you guys are so cute" she said looking starry eyed at Cameron.
  "Okay then I will see you later" he said pecking my lips before heading over to Nash.

  "He could do so much better" the "leader" I'm guessing said.

  I shook my  head and just headed over to the DJ booth.
"Hey rough day?" Sam asked.

  I shrugged. Right now I just wanted to talk to Shawn.
  Mahogany was getting ready for the show.

Security started to gather up the boys and stand near the light switches.

Well here goes nothing.
Right before the light went out I got yet another text.

  Don't worry about the haters. Just focus on Cameron and your singing. XOXO ~your biggest fan

  Okay what the hell.
The light went out and I made my onto the stage.

  I didn't even introduce myself I just went for it.

 
  I stare at my reflection in the mirror
Why am I doing this to myself
Losing my mind on a tiny error
I nearly left the real me on the shelf

  As soon as I finished the crowd went crazy.
  That was the first time I've ever performed for a crowd.
   I went back stage where everyone was waiting.
  Sam was right beside me.

"You did great!" Shawn said.

"Thanks" Sam and I said at the same time.

  Uh oh.
  I gave an awkward laugh as Sam came up with an excuse.

  "Well she played the music and helped DJ" Sam said adding a laugh.

  "Oh yeah duh I forgot" Matt said.
All the boys laughed.
Wow boys are gullible.

Shawn still hasn't even looked at me yet.
I headed over and sat next to Cameron on the couch.
  My arm started to ache a little.
  All the boys went over and helped Jack and Jack pick a song to sing.

   Cameron laced his fingers with mine. "You okay?" He asked looking down at me.
We were alone now. "Yeah just a little sore" I said looking down at my cast.
  He tilted my chin so I was looking at him.
  "If the fans say anything mean to you tell me okay?" He said.

I nodded. Hell no I wasn't telling him that. The fans would hate me even more.
  He smiled before crashing his lips to mine.
  "You guys aren't having sex are you because we are coming back in" Taylor yelled.

  Cameron pulled away an groaned.
"Yes we are so go away!" He yelled back.

  They all rushed in. Well so much for that.

  So not ready for school you guys 😂😂 I started 10th on Monday 😭😭😭
