Chapter 48

Caroline's POV

  I was kind of in shock.

That was the last thing I expected him to say and let me tell you it hurt.
  It hurt so bad.
  I looked up at him and spoke quickly before any tears could spill.

  "Okay yeah" I said. I didn't even wait for a response before I took off.

   I walked as fast as possible. I didn't even know where I was going. I just walked.

   I found myself back in the lobby and I could hear fans outside screaming so leaving the building wasn't an option.

   I saw the door that said stairs and I went through it hoping no one saw me.
  I was about 2 flights up before I broke.
  I sat down and cried. I didn't even realize I could cry this much.
  After sending all those texts and kissing me and he ended up finding someone else.
  There was only one person I could talk to in a time like this and that was my mom.

  "Mom, I really need you down here. I'm in a really bad spot and I need you to save me. Please."

I don't know what I expected to happen. I almost expected her to walk up the stairs and just hold me.

    Eventually I got up and walked out the next door. I was on the third floor and I didn't know where to go. 
I kept walking until I found another ballroom.

Seriously why does a hotel need like 6 ballrooms.

   It looked like the one we performed in and thankfully it had a piano.
  I decided to film a YouTube video on my phone since I had no intention of going back to mahoganys room.

  I did my intro and decided to just sing the first song that popped in my head.

It took everything in me not to bust out crying when I was singing.
   I did my outro and just sat at the piano.

  As much as I want Nash I need to figure out cameron.

   He hasn't said anything about him kissing me and hasn't mentioned anything about getting back together.

   All of a sudden I heard the door slam shut.

  I look up to find Bella.

  She look frightened at first but he kept walking towards me.
"You're such an amazing singer." She said with smile.

Hating her would be so much easier if she wasn't so nice.

  "Um thank you." I said unsure of where this conversation was going.

  "Look I just want to say I'm sorry, I know you and Nash were together and it must be hard seeing us but I really appreciate you not trying to step in." She said.

I was silent for a moment. I was planning to step in actually but her coming to me made me realize how selfish that would be.

"What me and Nash had is over and I really hope you two work out" I said with a genuine smile.

She looked surprised at first. Then quickly regained her composure.

   I stood up and put my phone in my pocket.
"You ready to head back up?" I asked.
She smiled and put her arms out to hug me.
I was timid at first but hugged her anyway.
  
I gotta start letting things go. Even Nash.

"I thought you left by the way" I asked confused.

"I went home to talk to my parents about joining the tour actually and they said yes." She said.
   That was when I noticed her suitcase.

"That's great" I said.
  The tour needed another girl.

  When we got to our floor she linked her arm around mine.
"Let's do this" she said with a smile.

When we walked in to where everyone was shock was across everyones faces. Especially Nashs.

   The cover I just posted was playing on the laptop too.
"Hey guys." She said unlinking our arms and putting her suitcase in the corner.

Eventually everyone started talking again.
Cameron came up and sat beside me.
"Well that was a surprise, what the hell happened?" He asked.

  I looked over at Nash and Bella and they are holding hands and laughing.
Then I see Shawn face timing some girl and he has the biggest smile on his face.

Then I look back at Cameron and I kiss him.

   Another note:
