  Caroline's POV

I don't know how long I've been like this but I know nash hasn't left my side.

I want to reach out to him and just hold him.
I can hear him cry sometimes and it breaks my heart into a million pieces and the only person that can put them back together is the reason their shattered in the first place.

   He is currently right beside me but he's really quiet.

  He usually talks to me but the only thing he has said today was hello.

   The door opens and Taylor starts talking.

"We gotta go man, as soon as the next few stops are over we can come back."

  "I can't" nash whispered.

  He can't leave!

  But he has to.

I'm not gonna be the reason thousands of girls can't meet him.

  "You know she wouldn't want you feeling this, just come with us so you can take your mind off things" taylor pleaded.

It was quiet for what seemed like hours.

"Okay I'll go"

I could feel a flood of relief run through me. It's not fair to him to be stuck here.

  I could feel him lean over. "I will be back, and I love you so much."

He kissed my cheek and left.

  1 week later*

  I need to get out of whatever I'm in.

I miss Nash like crazy it physically hurts.

  I really am hurting. My head has been killing me and doctors have been in here more frequently.

   All of a sudden a bright light blinded me. Of course my eyes aren't actually open but it's like another world in my head.

  "Caroline"
I could hear someone call my name. I also could hear the heart monitor speed up.
"Caroline"

In the brightness of the light I could see the two people that I have had nightmares and day dreams about.

I was looking at my parents.

I tried to speak but I couldn't.

Was I dying ?
Just the thought made the heart monitor beep so fast I could hear the doctors run in.

But I was still focused on my parents.

  "Things get better sweetheart. Find your reason."

  That was the last thing I heard from my parents before I sat up in bed gasping for air.

I was awake.
