Carla and Lisa

Part 77

It was ofiically Lisa's first day back at work today. The blonde is going back part time. But it doesn't stop the dread she's feeling about going back.

The past year she has spent every single day with her wife and their children. Not forgetting the collection of pets Betsy has been adding to the house. So far they have sonny and Cassie, a hamster. Fish and a tortoise that lives in a part of their garden.

She had loved every second of their year together. No work no worries just them. Enjoying time as a new family of four.

Her 0630 alarm awoke her that morning. Both women awoke to the alarm Lisa letting out a huff.

"I don't want to go back to work today" Lisa complained as she snuggled into her wife.

"I have loved this past year with you baby" Carla whispered to her wife pulling her in for a kiss.

"It's been the best year of my life" Lisa told her wife straddling her waist. "It really has been" Carla smiled up at Lisa running her hands through her hair.

"Promise you will text me through out the day. I don't want to miss anything. I want to know what you and arch get upto once me and bets are at work" Lisa asked her wife.

"I promise" Carla smiled pulling her down for a kiss.

"I appreciate you" Lisa smiled. Leaning down to kiss her wife.

Before things got to heated Lisa's second alarm went off. Both of them pulling away with a groan.

"You best get dressed DS Swain" Carla smiled to her wife. Squeezing her bum cheeks before the blonde climbed off her.

She got dressed in her signature DS Swain style blouse and trousers before pecking her wife's lips. "I will come say bye to you in a sec" Carla murmured against her lips.

Lisa snuck into Betsy room and placed a kiss on her daughter's head. Saying bye before heading to Archie's room to do the same but she found the boy awake and standing in his cot.

"Good morning my beautiful baby boy" she smiled at the boy so started to jump at the sight of her.

"Mummy?" The boy smiled.
The blonde grabbed the boy from his cot and passed a kiss to his cheek before placing him on her hip.

The woman made her way down stairs and got to making herself and Archie some breakfast. Both of them having weetabix.

She fed both herself and her son enjoying some last time with the boy before going back to work.

Once they finished their food she lifted the boy up for a cuddle and popped the kettle on to make herself wife a coffee and grabbed her a banana. She was poring the milk in her wife's coffee when she felt a pair of arms around her waist.

"You are the best wife in the world" Carla whispered in her ear. "Mumma!" Archie cheered.

"Good morning my baby" Carla smiled.

"I best head off" Lisa smiled to her wife. Leaning into her side so she can take the little boy. She placed a kiss to her wife's lips.

"I love you" Lisa whispered against the others lips.

"I love you too" Carla smiled "now go save the world"

After making sure Betsy heads off to work on time. The two brunettes of the family spent some 'Archie and mumma' time playing with his blocks. And in the garden with sonny.

They both missed the blonde mother more than they thought by the time it was lunch time. So Carla decided to surprise her with lunch.

So Carla put the boy into his pram and popped to Roy's for some lunch for herself and her wife and had a walk towards the station.
