Sunday morning has become a pancake ritual. Archie was obsessed with the food as was Betsy.

This morning tho when Betsy carried her brother into the kitchen. No pancakes where found and neither of their mums where found.

"Mummy! Mumma!" The little boy huffed.

"I bet they are still snoring in bed arch" Betsy smirked. "Shall we go wake them up?"

The little boy nodded his head and wiggled out of Betsy's arms before running back up the stairs as fast as his little legs would let him. With Betsy in tow.

"Wake up!!!" The boy shouted as she ran into the room waiting for Betsy to pick him up and throw him onto the bed.

"Bubba it's to early" Lisa huffed when she had her brunette curly haired toddler ontop of her.

"But mummy it's pancake day!" The boy pouted before climbing off his mummy and climbing ontop of his mumma.

"Mumma" he whined. "Baby" she whined back. "Please" he begged his little hands landing on her cheeks. "Gimme a kiss and I might make you both pancakes" Carla smiled finally opening her eyes.

The boy placed the wettest kiss to Carla cheek as she gathered him on her arms.

"You've got to escape now bubba" she smirked over to Lisa who was happily watching them.

"Mummy help!" He giggled trying to wriggle out. "I'm not helping I wanted cuddles with mumma this morning" Lisa giggled back.

"BETSYYYY" he begged.

Betsy ran around the bed to save her brother but only got pulled into the bed.

"5 minutes of cuddles then we will make pancakes" Carla told her kids.

Lisa wrapped her arms around all three of them. Enjoying her last moment of quiet Time.

After 5 minutes Archie and Betsy jumped out the bed pulling Carla along with them. She quickly grabbed her dressing gown and followed them down stairs.

Carla made a start on the pancakes quickly she made them all enough to last the whole weekend with all their favourite toppings.

She felt a pair of arms around her waist when she was making their hot drinks. "You are an angel Carla swain" Lisa whispered against her shoulder before placing a soft kiss there.

"Hmmm good morning to you to" Carla smiled as she turned in her arms. Placing a loving kiss to her lips.

"Hi" Lisa whispered. Pulling Carla closer. "I was rather looking forward to a quite morning in bed with my wife" Lisa smirked as her hands wandered underneath the others top.

"Lisa swain don't start something you can't finish" Carla smiled against her lips

"How dare you" Lisa gasped. "When have I ever left you hanging"

"Hmm let me think. Almost every day of our lives" Carla replied. Kissing her again.

"Baby" Carla moaned into her wife's mouth as her hands traveled.

But before they could carry on Archie and Betsy came into the kitchen. "Pancakea ready mumma?" Archie asked cocking his head to the side. Tapped Lisa legs to to picked up.

"Yup all ready for you monkey" Carla smiled kissing his hair.

"Betsy it's time!!!!" He shouted to his sister who was right next to him.

"Time for what please?" Lisa quizzed them.

"See who can eat the most pancakes of course silly" Betsy smiled as she took her seat.

"Silly mummy" Archie smiled poking her cheek as she sat him in his chair.

"Duhh silly mummy!" Carla joined in.

"Oi you" Lisa smirked poking Carla in the ribs.

"You're the silly one" she continued as she pulled Carla into a kiss.

"We will finish what we started later baby" she whispered into Carla's ears causing the brunette to place her face on Lisa chest letting out a whisper of a groan.

"Get a room" Archie piped from the table.

"You spend to much time with you sister and cousin Ryan" Carla barked out a laugh.

To which Archie stuck his tongue out to his mumma. Who quickly returned the gesture.

"Cheeky" Lisa laughed as she placed his food in front of him.

"Ok Arch are you ready?" Betsy smiled to her brother. "Most pancakes win" she smiled at him.

"GOOOOO!" The both shouted before the tucked into their food.

Betsy smashed her brother with the most food eaten. But Archie defiantly got the messiest. There was syrup everywhere. It even ended up on poor sunny why now had to be bathed.

"I win" Betsy smiled sticking her tongue out at her brother.

"I can't belive we ever worried about their age gap" Lisa whispered to Carla as they did the dishes. Whilst their children ran into the living room to place games.

"They are the most perfect precious things ever aren't they" Carla replied.

Neither woman knew how they ended up with this perfect life but they loved every second of their chaotic mess.
