Carla and Lisa

Part 61

With things looking positive for the family. Carla and Lisa decided to announce the new member of their family to the group. So the next day after taking a photo of Betsy and Archie Lisa sent a message to their family group chart.

*the swains have become 6! Carla and myself want you to welcome Archie Aiden Jacob Swain to our family!*

All members of the family quickly replied. Ryan told them he would be over to see the little boy. Not sure if he should be telling their family the real reason Archie was not a swain.

Kate said she and Freya would be over in the afternoon if that was ok. Michelle said she is hopping onto a plane tonight to meet the little boy and Jenny alone with Nina confining for herself and Roy they would be around at some point tomorrow.

Carla had put things in place for her to take maternity leave as she could do some work from home and with Lisa's DI already knowing about the baby he had given her full maternity leave also.

Carla had given Sarah the go ahead to run the factory with Betsy on tow. She girl has been shadowing her mum for months with the hope of Carla that she would be the one to run the factory on day. Planning to give Betsy shares of the company. Once she has finished with uni.

"We best enjoy our peace until they all come and meet Arch" Carla told her wife who was feeding the little boy.

"I think that's us getting visitors for the next week" Lisa smiled down at the little boy.

Not even 10 seconds later her phone started to ring. It was her brother Josh.

"Hey bro" she smiled as she put the phone on speaker. "Hey sis! congratulations" Josh smiled down the phone. They heard Hayden shout down the phone as well from a distance.

"He's adorable lise. Can we come visit?" He asked his sister.

"Of course. He's got to meet his uncles" Lisa smiled. Carla took Archie from her wide and went and made them tea.

Some time later Betsy returned home with Ryan in follow. "Where is my favourite little cousin then" Ryan smiled as he walked in.</p>

"Oi you" Betsy moaned as she flicked his ear. "I was your cousin long before arch" Betsy laughed.

"Oh my god my eyes" Ryan shirked turning around and turning him self around.

"Nooooo" Betsy screamed. "Your scaring Archie. He's just a baby"

"He's fast on!" Carla huffed as she pulled the blanket that was lay on the bottom half of her legs over them."

Betsy and Ryan went into the room backwards and saved the baby before going into the kitchen.

"I think our peace for the next week is officially over" Carla huffed into her wife's chest who was lay below her.

"I'm not done with you yet swain. We are finishing this tonight" Lisa smiled kissing her wife's forehead.

"I'm expecting nothing different" Carla smiled. Kissing her lips.

"Can you two hurry" Betsy complained from the kitchen.

"Give us a minute"  Lisa shouted. She leant up and kissed her wife one last time.

"Love you" Carla whispered as Lisa sat them both up. "Love you too" Lisa mumbled between kisses.

Carla got up and threw her wife's outfit towards her.

Betsy and Ryan entered the room a little while later both avoiding the sofa. Lisa was sat on Carla's lap and Betsy had Archie lay on her chest.

A little while later Kate and Freya turned up. Carla quickly took the little girl off her sister. Who was not able to sit up and was babbling, smiling and laughing.

Roy, Nina and Jenny arrived soon after and Michelle a hour later Michelle joined them having literally jumping on the next plane she could get.

Ryan, Betsy and Nina all walked to fetch the takeaway ordered. Whilst Michelle and Kate shared cuddles with the new babies in the family.

Lisa and Carla was making the beds up in the spare rooms. "Kate and Michelle will have to get over the baby things in here" Carla smiled looking around the room they where slowly turning into their sons

"Oh they will love it" Lisa smiled coming to stand next to her wife.

"I still can't belive this is our life" Carla whispered wrapping her arms around her wife

"It's perfect isn't it" Lisa replied turning into her arms so they were facing. Carla gave her a nod as she leaned in for a long kiss.

"Are you two ever not getting it on" Michelle laughed as she walked into the room.

"What can we say" Lisa smiled as she placed on last kiss to her lips and taking Freya from Michelle's arms.

"Who's have thought ay" Michelle smiled as she came to stand next to her best friend.

"I know" Carla smiled.

"A wife, a mother of 2. You have a dog and cat for god sake" Michelle smiled.

"I know who'd have thought" Carla laughed.

"You really do have it pretty perfect car. I'm so proud of you"

"Thanks chelle" Carla smiled.

The family sat around chatting and eating the pizza they had ordered. Many photos were taken. A big family photo was posted after Carla had been emailed a court date with the adoption.

Betsy posted the photo announcing her baby brother.
The comment section quickly filling with congratulations.
