Carla and Lisa went to bed that night both happy and proud of what they have achieved. They snuggled up to one another after getting Archie ready for bed. Both ready for a sleepless night of people knocking around in the house and Archie awaking for feeds.

The next morning Lisa awoke to Carla next to her with Archie on her chest. "When did he get in here with us?" The blonde smiled as she placed a kiss to her lovers bare shoulder.

"About 5am" Carla chuckled. Rubbing a hand up and down is back. "Don't you think he as grown so much in the week we've had him"
Lisa smiles lovingly at her son.

"He certainly has" Carla replied kissing his head. "The day our baby loses his new born scrunch is a day we morn" the brunette said rather dramatically.

"Hey dont you think about him growing up. I'm still lost at the fact our daughter is 19!" Lisa smiled.

"I know. That 15 year old I met doing her GCSE's all them years ago. She's a young woman these days!" The other replied. Thinking back to when they first met.

"Do you think you would have believed that this would be your life. Married to the local copper. Two kids deep with a dog, cat and hamster" Lisa smirked up at her wife.

"Never in a million years. But I'm so thankful it is" Carla smiled giving her wife one last kid.

"I can't belive bets brought that hamster yesterday." Carla groaned. "I know we let her off with sorting Cassie out and taking sunny for walks but she really is going to look after that rat" "To right" Lisa smiled. "Speaking of walking sunny. We've got no milk or bacon"

"Come on then let's get dressed. That lot won't be awake for a while" Carla smiled giving as she slid off the work top and pulled her wife upstairs.

After getting a little distracted the women got sunny on his lead and Archie into his pram before heading off to Sainsbury's.

They had a slow walk. Sunny had become a well trained dog after Betsy and Mason had taught him tricks and not to pull. They both discussed their day knowing they will be having a full house. Not that they minded. They loved their family with their whole heart.

Carla had nipped into the shop whilst Lisa waited with the pram and sunny when fiz, Kirk and sally approached.

"DS swain. Hi" sally smiled.

"Oh hi sally, Fiz, Kirk" Lisa smiled. The two women looked into the pram whilst Kirk started to fuss the day.

"Ahh DS Swain this dog is well cute!" The man smiled. As he rolled onto his back.

"Thank Kirk" Lisa smirked.

"Oh DS Swain he's adorable" Fiz smiled.

"What's his name?" Sally questioned.

"Archie Aiden Jacob Swain" the blonde smiled as her wife walked out of the shop.

"Oh how lovely!" Fiz smiled.

"Oh hello Mrs swain. I must say the factory isn't the same without you" sally piped up.

"I will be back before you know it Sal. Until then enjoy that daughter of ours being in charge!" Carla laughed. When she saw sally roll her eyes.

The said their goodbyes and headed back home.

By the time they got home everyone was up and awake. Mason had bumped into them on their way home. They invited him to walk with them back to the house for some breakfast.

Betsy quickly ran to him and pulled him into a hug. Which earned wolf whistles from Kate and Michelle.

The girl introduced her boyfriend to her aunties. Both women making a big fuss. She secretly prayed her uncles will make less of a fuss. Deep down knowing they won't.

"Mase I'm going to warn you when my uncles get here your on for a grilling" the girl warned when she pulled her boyfriend away from her aunties stares.

In the kitchen Lisa gave her daughter and her boyfriend a bacon sandwich to which they both shovelled down their throats.

"Blumin heck you two calm down" Lisa laughed.

"Well when mum stops trying to steal my food. Then I will eat like a lady" Betsy huffed.

"Oi you. That's slander and I will get your mother to arrest you for it" Carla grumbled as she walked into the kitchen and stole half of Betsy bacon sandwich.

"I think that's slander what you just said mate!" Betsy argued as she fort her mum to get the sandwich back.

"Betsy Swain! I am not your mate I am your mother!" Carla argued back playfully. Sticking her tongue out at her daughter.

"Mum tell her!" Betsy moaned.

"Lisa tell your daughter!" Carla said as well.

"Oh she's my daughter now is she!" Lisa defended joining the argument. Passing Mason the baby who looked very uncomfortable.

"Yes! Your daughter when she's being mean and moody. And mine when she's being lovely!" Carla smiled.

"I think it's the other way round if I'm being honest!" Lisa grumbled crossing her arms.

"I would argue I get my good side from Becky!" Betsy piped up. "So that means I'm being both of yours daughter when being spoilt and moody"

"We can't argue there lise" Carla smiled pulling them both in for a hug.

"Don't worry arch. Me and you men will sit and watch them like this. We don't get involved with these women issues" he chuckled smiling at the little boy. "You boys are gonna need to have each others backs" Betsy smiled. "Especially with us three strong women" Carla smiled. "I will make you another sandwich" Carla smiled kissing her forehead.
