You would think that on a Sunday morning at 6am, everyone would be asleep. Even I was.
Until I heard someone yelling and moving stuff around in the room beside me.
Arghhh I HATE BEING A LIGHT SLEEPER SOMETIMES.
"Rise and shine, sleepyhead! It's 6 A.M.! Early ninja gets the worm!" Maya exclaimed in Nya's room. I groaned, trying to muffle the sounds with my pillow.
"Make her stop or at least be quiet" I complained. There was more talking, and I heard pecking on my door. I groaned, standing up to see who was there.
Sparky looked up at me innocently, having nowhere to go after being kicked out of Nya's room. I grabbed out some treats from my night stand for Sparky. Poor chicken.
I walked into the kitchen, still drowsy. Maya was holding a plate of Tofu pancakes and seaweed for Nya.
"My life does not need fixing, Mother." Nya told her mother in an annoyed tone.
"Moring Nya, morning Miss Smith!" I waved.
"Morning sweetheart. Please, call me Maya" Maya welcomed cheerfully. I smiled in response.
"Morning Scar" Nya added. In her eyes I could see her basically begging for help. I sent her a sympathetic look and got started on some breakfast for me, the ninja and Sensei. It was my turn to do so anyway.
"That's not what your brother says. He says your powers are going haywire and you can't control water anymore. Personally, I never had that problem when I was Master of Water, but never fear! We'll figure it out together." Maya chirped from behind me.
"Um, why is the bacon green?" I asked, glancing at the plate. I was making normal pancakes and bacon for myself and the other ninjas (plus a little for Nya just in case), and tea and toast for Sensei.
