*Scar POV*
We were still at the bottom of the ocean, engine busted. Nya was in the machine room with her mum. Zane was doing some stuff next to us.
Me, my BF and my brother decided to listen to Nya's talk with her mom, placing our ears close to the door. What? The drama is peak.
"Try again." Nya told Pixal.
"Maybe the line is blocked." Maya suggested.
"It's not the line, we just replaced the line." Nya replied.
"Oh, what about that little clicky-thumpy thing over there?" Maya continued.
"You mean the piston?" Nya asked.
"Ah! Is that what it's called?" Her mum questioned happily.
"It's not the piston, Mom. It's the battery, okay?" Nya exclaimed, exasperated "It's dead. Look. Isn't there something else you could be doing?".
Me, Lloyd and Jay exchanged an 'oop' glare.
"I'm here to help you, dear!" Maya told her encouragingly.
"I don't need help! I've been doing just fine for a long time. The whole time you were gone, and Kai and I were on our own, raising ourselves? Remember that time?" Nya reminded.
"Ooh snap, drama" I mumbled.
"You know that your father and I didn't have any choice about that. We were imprisoned, and ..." Maya said sadly.
"Oh, I know, Mom, I know! I'm not saying it's your fault, I'm just saying -" We heard Nya smacking something metal loudly in frustration "It's a bit late to help now. I'm not a little girl anymore, okay?".
"Aw" I said sadly, placing a hand over my heart.
We heard Nya approaching the door we were behind. The three of us quickly scrambled to do something and pretend we were listening. Jay used a plunger on the odometer, Lloyd began adjusting a wheel, I grabbed a screwdriver and hit a pole with it, and Zane just stood in the same spot, looking confused.
