He stood up and held Tasleem's hands in his. "Let's go home." He said gently.
They walked to where his car was parked. Tasleem stopped and said. "My car is over there." She said,
"I know, someone will drive it home for you." He said and opened the back seat door. Before Tasleem could get it. Sa'eed hurriedly blocked her path and stretched out his hand for a handshake and said. "Hello, Lady boss, I'm Sa'eed, Rayyan's best friend. You're as beautiful as people say. No wonder Rayyan is head over heels for you."
Tasleem doesn't know how to reply. she awkwardly said. "Hello."
Rayyan pushed him to the side. "Move away." He said.
They both got into the car and Sa'eed got into the driver seat.
Rayyan reached out his arm and grabbed Tasleem's wrist, pulling her close to his body.
Sa'eed was grinning foolishly. "I always wanted to come to your house to eat, but Rayyan stopped me every time." He complained.
Rayyan glared at him. What nonsense is he saying?
Tasleem looked at Rayyan's expression and she wanted to laugh but she held it in. He is jealous! "You can come anytime you want." She replied.
"Boss, you heard that you can't stop me anymore." He laughed.
Rayyan wanted to strangle him. Was he complaining to his wife about him? "Start the car already." He urged.
"To the office or to your house?" He asked.
"Of course to my house." Rayyan felt irritated by his voice. What nonsense question is this?
When they reached home. Before Tasleem could get down. He held her back and said. "We'll talk when I get back tonight." He whispered.
She nodded at him. And said "okay."
He kissed her forehead before he let her go.
"Drive to the office." He said to Sa'eed.

In the evening Sa'eed came into Rayyan's office. "Boss, our men have reported. Three Kings Group have noticed that we're the one who snatched their project. So they're trying to buy the land that we got our eyes on."
"Double the amount, make sure we got the land." It is a big Land for their new project. They wanted to build a spa, a gym, a mall, a shopping mall, a restaurant and a hotel all in the same place.
That was their biggest project of the year and if they succeed. They will get billions of profit.
"Yes, and our branch company that Alex is handling was suddenly attacked. I received a notice that our company is suspected of using state funds. They've suspended the operations of our branch. The police are involved in the investigation... Alex couldn't handle it alone, he asked you to go over." Sa'eed finished his sentence in one breath and looked up at Rayyan.
His expression didn't change much, but he was a little surprised. Then he said in disdain. "They're trying to put a lot on our plate, so that we will stop attacking them."
"I think so too." Sa'eed said worriedly. "But our branch company isn't small. If we let them destroy it. It'll directly affect the stock price of our domestic headquarters."
No matter whether it was the branch within or outside the country, if something happened anywhere, the entire RH Corporation would be directly affected. "Get ready, we are going over tomorrow."

When Rayyan got home, they ate dinner as usual and they went upstairs to freshen up.
Tasleem wore her sleepwear and was doing her skin care.
Rayyan stepped out of the bathroom. Tasleem was rubbing lotion on her arms. He moved towards her and hugged her from behind. Causing her heart to almost jump out from its cage. "You said that we will talk?" She reminded him.
"Mm." He answered without opening his eyes. He kissed her neck twice. Causing Tasleem to feel her skin tingle at that exact spot.
Tasleem couldn't help but imagine him as a pet that had been separated from his owner for a long time and now that they were together again, all he wanted was to cuddle every single time.
"Why didn't you call me when something happened at school?" He asked. He wanted to be her safe space. The first person she called when she was in trouble. The first person she thinks of when she's happy, he wants her to be entirely dependent on him. To trust him fully and to be his alone. "Were you planning on hiding our marriage till the end?"
"No.. I wasn't....."
He opened his eyes and looked at her through the mirror. His eyes were clear and deep, silently showing his feelings. "I feel so bad Tasleem when you don't tell me things, it makes me feel like you don't trust me at all."
Tasleem's heart ached at his words. She hugged his arm that was on her waist. She doesn't know how to explain herself. She wasn't used to people standing up for her. She's used to enduring things by herself. "Don't say that, you know that I trust you the most. And Amira and Zainab were there, I didn't think that the issue would turn out to be that big."
He had never loved someone as intense as the one he harboured towards Tasleem. It was so deep that he could feel the sheer weight of it. But it was inexplicable.
He just loves her and that's it. Who could explain love anyway?
If anyone could explain the working of love, then this world would not have so many people going mad from it!
"Tasleem, you're allowed to cause trouble, you're allowed to mess with anyone you don't like, Do what you like, hate what you don't like. I'll take care of the rest for you! I'm your husband, I'll do anything for you."
Tasleem felt so moved that she wanted to cry. A faint smile appeared on her face. "I'll do better from now on, I promise to call you when something happens."
Not every woman could meet someone like Rayyan. To be loved unconditionally by him.
Love is something that you can only feel precious after you have encountered it.
The two of them looked at each other and smiled. He kissed her cheek and said. "I love you."
She flushed and said. "I love you too."
"Oh I almost forgot." He said. "I'll be going on a business trip tomorrow." He uttered. Tasleem's body stiffened.
She pulled away and looked into his eyes. "W-where are you going?" She stammered as their eyes met.
"To Europe, I have work to do." Tasleem didn't want him to go, she doesn't know why, but she couldn't tell him to stay. He had to work and take care of his business. Whatever it was that he did- she couldn't possibly tie him down to stay with her everyday.
"Are you sad?" Rayyan's voice rang in her ears but she couldn't respond. Sad? Sad was an understatement. What she was feeling at that moment was worse than sadness. She wanted him not to go. Could she stop him? Could she ask him to stay?
Suddenly, the girl wrapped her arms around his neck. As if she was silently chaining him with her two fragile arms, as if she didn't want to let go of him. No matter what happened.
"Can I come?" She asked.
Rayyan hugged her waist and said. "No, baby, you can't." He answered and Tasleem felt like tearing up.
"Why?" Her voice was now barely a whisper.
He predicted that she might not be happy with him leaving but why did he feel like there was something off with her? "Because it's chaotic there, I promise to come back as soon as possible." He answered.
Tasleem couldn't come up with a word to refuse him. And if he couldn't stay, having him come back early wasn't bad. "You promise." She reminds him.
He kissed her pouted lips and said. "Yes, I promise." The reluctance in her eyes was reduced.
