Tasleem looked at Amira speechlessly. "We're screwed." It's very clear that the man held grudges. Hopefully, he would not give Amira any trouble in the future.

At night when Rayyan came back, before she could even speak, she heard Rayyan's voice. "You bumped into Nuab today? What did Amira do to pissed him off this much?" He asked.

Tasleem laughter escaped her lips. "You know all that already?"

"You still have the mouth to laugh? What did I tell you? I told you to run away whenever you see him. And what did Nuab say to you?"

Tasleem told him what happened honestly.

Rayyan angrily kept his phone on the side drawer, "That lunatic." He uttered. "If you ever encounter him again  , call me immediately." He said.

"Will he really make a move against us?" Tasleem asked.

Rayyan answered without hesitation. "Yes. I know him better." His face darkened in an instant. "Why do you always attract the attention of men? I feel like hiding you somewhere only I can see you."

Tasleem pouted her lips innocently, "You attract the attention of women as well."

"Didn't you see that all I met were unpleasant and vicious women?" Rayyan said.

Tasleem was amused by his words, her eyes teared up as she laughed. "Honestly speaking, I don't think he likes me like that." She was referring to Prince Nuab. "And I don't think he's that bad, you just don't like each other." She continued.

Rayyan's face clouded and he asked immediately, "Why are you speaking up for him?" He lay on the bed and turned over, his back facing Tasleem, looking like he did not intend to talk to her again.

Tasleem looked at the man's head and did not know whether to laugh or cry. He was like a child when he got jealous. "Ya Rayyan." She called, but he didn't answer.

"Hubby." She called again. "Are you really ignoring me?" She asked.

She tapped him twice and studied his face. "Ya Rayyan, I know you're not sleeping," she said softly.

Still no response.

She leaned closer and bit his earlobe hard, but she still got no response.

In the morning, Rayyan barely spoke a word to her. At breakfast he was focused entirely on his plate.

Tasleem studied his face, trying hard not to laugh at the way his brows were drawn together in a dramatic way. Pursing her lips slightly, she finally spoke. "Are you really ignoring me?"

He continued eating, his movements calm and deliberate, as if he hadn't heard her at all.

Just then, Sa'eed walked in and greeted them.

Tasleem replied and invited him to eat with them.

As they ate, Sa'eed eyes kept drifting towards Rayyan who didn't speak once. He was frowning the entire time, he looked at Tasleem and asked, "What's wrong with him?" He asked.

Tasleem couldn't keep it in anymore and burst out laughing. "I don't know, he hasn't been speaking to me at all."

Sa'eed looked at Rayyan then shook his head, "Boss, you need to change your attitude. Why are you giving sister-in-law a hard time for no reason?" He asked, "Boss, I'm afraid there's hardly any woman that can stand your temper."

Rayyan's eyes lifted sharply as he glared at Sa'eed. Are they really speaking about him right in front of him?

Tasleem opened the bottle of water, drinking some.
