In a blink of an eye, four days passed since Rayyan traveled. All Tasleem did in those four days was just sleeping, eating, praying and then she would sleep again. That was her routine.

And the couples only talked once. the second time Tasleem called. Sa'eed answered it and told her that Rayyan was in a meeting.

It was morning when Tasleem woke up. She didn't immediately get out of bed. She looked at the window, the sun was starting to paint the sky with some breathtaking beautiful hues, causing her to smile from seeing such a great view in the morning. However her smile soon faded when she finally remembered that Rayyan wasn't here, beside her. She looked  at the spot where he used to sleep.

She was missing him so bad that it was getting worse by the day. And for those four days that he's away, every time she went out, she felt like someone was watching her. She started to wonder if she was thinking too much in her head. But the feeling keeps on getting stronger, telling her that it was not a figment of her imagination that it was real.

She let out a sigh before she picked her phone on the side drawer and dialed Rayyan's number. It rang for a long time but no one picked up. She got out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. After that she went to the closet and wore a yellow dress. Making her skin look more beautiful and brighter.

She headed out of the room and roamed around the third floor like a lonely ghost. She sat down in the communal lounge area, staring outside through the large glass windows for a bit and when she got bored of that, she decided to walk out to the balcony to get a better view around her. It was just so beautiful that she was a little sad that she couldn't share it with him.

She resigned and went to the kitchen and took a plate. Served cookies and strawberries on it. She quickly made a glass of smoothie.

She stepped out with snowy following closely beside her, the cool morning air brushing against her skin as she made her way to the pool area. The sun still shines, making the water shimmer with an inviting gleam. Her footsteps gently clicked against the stone tiles. Four grey and white lounge chairs were positioned by the edge of the pool. and the cushioned sofas were positioned just beneath a pergola, its white fabric a perfect contrast to the deep blue of the pool water. She gently put down the plate of cookies and the smoothie on the table.

And she lowered herself onto the plush cushions, settling on it. Her body curled comfortably under the shade it offered.

Snowy hopped up onto the cushion and yawned  with a contented purring as it lay beside her, its tail twitching lazily.

Tasleem stretched out her hand and picked a ripe strawberry from the plate. She took a bite from it, and its sweet juice trickled onto her lips, leaving them soft pink and moist. And her eyes drifted to the pool, deep in thought.

In the afternoon Tasleem called Asiya to come over to go to the supermarket together. She was tired of ordering takeaway and she really did not feel like going out alone. Or to be precisely scared of going out alone.

When they arrived at the supermarket, Tasleem looked around before she got out of the car.

They went into the supermarket, Tasleem took a lot of snacks that she liked. And she followed Asiya to buy some ingredients like garlic, ginger and all. They also buy some vegetables. And they finally went to the meat area. They brought some meat, chicken and some seafood as well. And they went to pay the bill. After that they came out of the supermarket.

Tasleem froze and quickly looked around her. She keeps feeling like someone was watching her.

Asiya shook her arm and asked. "What's wrong?"  She asked when she saw Tasleem stop moving.

"Don't you feel like someone is watching us?"

Asiya shook her head. "I don't think so. Is something wrong?" She asked.

"No, let's go." Tasleem answered. They both walked away in a hurry. Tasleem only dared to take a deep breath when she was in the car.

She was puzzled and afraid. Was there really someone following her? She shook her head, maybe she was thinking too much, that's why she keeps having the same feeling.

As the saying goes, overthinking causes illusion.

She started the car and she dropped Asiya on the way and headed home.

Evening had settled in quietly. Tasleem had already eaten her dinner and gone to bed, the soft glow of the bedside lamp casting gentle shadows around the room. She felt a lingering fear which she had decided to sleep with the side lamp on.

Her eyes grew heavy with sleep, the silence lulling her into drowsiness until the sudden ring of her phone broke the calmness. She reached for it, blinking at the screen. It was Rayyan calling.

She quickly sat up on the bed, a sweet smile lit up her face. She answered the call. His deep manly voice came through the phone. "Baby." He called.

A trace of exhaustion could be heard from his voice. He had been in a meeting since last night, which is why he didn't call until now.

Tasleem really wants to see him so bad at the moment. Since they got married. This was the first time that they're not together for this long."Hubby, when are you coming back?" She asked.

He smiled. "I'll come back in a few days, did I wake you up?"

"No, I wasn't sleeping."

When he heard her voice. All the exhaustion he was feeling was suddenly washed away. She was the best relief he could ever ask for. "I miss you." He said. He wanted to say more. But that is the only word he could express how much he missed and wanted her.

She pouted and replied. "I miss you too, I miss you more. Please come back soon."

"I will. I was in a meeting when you called."

"It's okay. You should rest and eat."

"I can't sleep if you're not by my side. I can only bear with it for now."

Tasleem's face reddened. She bit her lips. She kept feeling that Rayyan's sweet nothing was too much. And she really could not handle it. "The more reason you should come back as soon as possible."

They talked for another 40 minutes. When Tasleem yawned for the third time. Rayyan said. "It's getting late, you should sleep early."

"Yes... You too."

"Good night, I love you."

"I love you too."

After hanging up the phone,  Sa'eed who was sitting beside him called. "Boss. We have successfully. Got the land."

Happy with the outcome, Rayyan praised. "Good job Sa'eed, good job."
