Far from the noise of the city, The vast property stretched across acres of private land, enclosed by towering walls that disappeared into the distance. Tall trees lined the outer perimeter.
The only visible entrance was the massive black and gold wrought-iron gates. Guarded around by palace guards. Armed security personnel stood at strategic points around the entrance while surveillance cameras monitored every vehicle and person approaching the property.
Beyond the gate was a long, private road. It stretched deep, surrounded on both sides by maintained lawns, and rows of trees. The road was wide enough for several vehicles to pass at once, yet it remained almost completely silent.
The farther one drove, the more secluded it became.
The royal palace stood at the heart of the estate. It has a magnificent exterior with towering windows, grand columns, stonework, and enormous balconies overlooking the sprawling grounds, the entire structure appears breathtakingly grand and beautiful. With guards around the palace grounds.
The palace was not the only residence on the estate.
Scattered throughout the enormous property were the private villas belonging to members of the royal family.
They were not built close to the palace.
Far from it.
Each villa stood on its own section of land, separated from the others by long stretches of gardens, trees, garages, horse ranch, lawns, outdoor spaces and private roads.
Each villa had its own staff, including maids, and security guards.
Every residence was large enough to be considered a mansion on its own. But none compared to the palace.
There were also several buildings scattered throughout the grounds, staff residences, guest houses, and security buildings.
The crown prince villa was the biggest among the other villas.
The palace for the king and Queen, and the villas for the members of the royal family.
The estate had been designed that way deliberately. Close enough to remain a family, yet far enough to preserve their privacy. They could live together without constantly living on top of one another.
This was the royal estate.
The convoy approached the palace gate, the sound of the cars drawing the attention of the guards stationed at the entrance. As the vehicles came to a stop, the guards stood upright and greeted the Crown Prince respectfully.
The palace gates were opened, and the cars passed through one after another. The convoy continued along the palace driveway until they finally arrived at the main entrance.
The car came to a stop, and Nuab stepped out, followed by Tasleem. They made their way into the palace.
The king was already aware of everything. A while ago, he had told his wife, Zaira, everything.
Tasleem and Nuab were the only ones seated in the grand living room.
Tasleem tightened her grasp on her clothes. Right now, her emotions are complicated. She was excited and yet, a little scared. She was about to meet her biological parents, the king and Queen. And the thought left her feeling overwhelmed.
Soon they heard hurried footsteps approaching. A beautiful woman came into view. She had clear, fair skin, large expressive eyes, and soft pink lips. Her delicate features were almost identical to Tasleem's, making the resemblance between them impossible to miss.
