Three days later...
After choosing the fabric of her dress, Amira stopped by the mall to buy perfume for Yasim as a gift.
It took her a while before she finally chose four perfumes she liked, she smiled in satisfaction to herself.
“Pack these ones for me,” she told the attendant.
The woman nodded politely and carefully placed the perfumes into black shopping bags wrapped with silver ribbons.
Amira thanked the lady and took the bags from her before making her way out of the store.
She didn't reach her car when a man stood in her way. Annoyed, before she could speak, a cold voice came from above her. "Since we're acquainted, isn't it a bit rude to be leaving without even meeting each other?"
The mall belonged to him, so he had decided to stop by. The moment Amira stepped out of her car, she caught his attention immediately.
Without her noticing, he followed her into the mall. He waited patiently until she was done shopping, then trailed behind her once again as she walked out of the mall.
Amira froze immediately. The words she was about to speak got stuck in her throat.
When Amira looked up, his eyes were laden with intense maliciousness. Scaring her to the point where she gulped and took a step back. His entire body emitted a dark and gloomy aura.
Amira felt chilly just by looking at him.
"What do you mean by acquaintance? Mr. Prince, this friendliness is all rather one sided, isn't it? You don't seem to be a careless person, how is it that your words are so unlikeable?"
Nuab chuckled coldly, the girl was still as rude as ever.
"If you don't have anything to say I'm leaving." She said,
"You're not leaving here today." He looked dead serious.
Amira's face bunched up as she frowned, "On what ground?" She asked.
"You offended me. Is that reason enough?"
This rude man is just too much! "What does it have to do with me that you're offended? What's such a big deal that you're offended? I'm showing you some respect by calling you Mr. Prince. Do you really think you're amazing?" Amira said.
One of the things that Amira loathed was the kind of man that acted like a pretentious prick, those who always put on a dignified face as if they were so important and precious. She was utterly disgusted by them.
"You have such a sharp mouth that you're not even worried about danger."
Amira laughed mockingly, "What? Am I supposed to be afraid of you? If you want to be respected you have to earn it."
Nuab face was filled with coldness. The chill that came from him became more intense. He smiled out of nowhere. "Since that is the case, I'll have to do this the hard way..."
Amira rolled her eyes dramatically and asked, "What was your name again?"
"Nuab." He answered.
"Nuab, Have you heard a saying before?"
"What saying?"
Amira chuckled and said seriously, "If you're really capable of making your move, then quit your bullshit."
Prince Nuab nodded at her words, "How unfortunate for you today, your brother and your sister-in-law are not here to protect you."
Amira was certain that, being in the middle of the street, he wouldn’t dare do anything to her. Resting a hand on her waist, she lifted her chin arrogantly and met his gaze without fear.
