They were sitting in the living room.. Rayyan stubbornly cuddled his wife no matter how much she protested to let her go. Soon enough she got tired and she let him do as he wished.
He had decided to spend his time with Tasleem which was far better than anything else.
Tasleem felt his eyes on her. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She felt her heart slip and stutter in her chest with the way Rayyan looked at her. He was a handsome looking man, and his hair was dark, which made his features Sharp and clear. She had to remind herself not to feel weak in her knees. They were married, thought Tasleem to herself as the thought sank into her mind.
Rayyan looked at her as if she was the only treasure in the world, he gave his full attention to her as if everything else around them disappeared. She looked beautiful, her innocent eyes quietly reaching out for him because of the possible nervousness she felt right now. And just by that mere look, she stole his heart again which he had lost count of.  He kissed her eyes, forehead, nose, cheek and then her mouth. "Is there anything you want, my wife?"
His action brought a faint blush on Tasleem's cheek. She shook her head, "I think I have everything." It was hard to believe how much both of them had come around since the time of their wedding. Rayyan was not less overbearing when it came to things around him, but he was to pause and consider her feelings which was something she appreciated now. Without him having to word it out, she could feel his love and happiness radiating from him, and this made her happy too.
Now he came back home at 5 and cooked for them whenever he had time.
He held her hand and kissed it, Tasleem noticed how small her hand looked in his, and it felt warm. Her other hand was on his chest, and she felt his heart beat. It's hard to believe that Rayyan's heart will beat because of a woman, yet here was Rayyan's heart, beating only for her.
"There must be something you want? A pet? Jewels? A mansion or someone's head?" Rayyan grinned at the end. "Ask me anything and I will give it to you."
Tasleem had never taken any interest in jewels in the past, not because her family was poor and couldn't afford it, but because things like those mattered less to her. And what would she do with a mansion? The thought of having a pet was intriguing. "A Cat?."
"A cat it is." He picked up his phone and sent a text. "Anything else?" He asked. She shook her head at him.
Forty minutes later, the doorbell rang. Tasleem went to open the door. Her eyes widened at what she saw.
Three men in the blue top stood before her, their faces beaming with friendly smiles. One of them held a basket containing a white hairy cat. Its fur glistened like freshly fallen snow, and its cute eyes sparkled with curiosity as it looked at Tasleem.  And his other hand held a bouquet of different varieties of chocolate. A small box in the middle.
The other Men presented  two bouquets of 99 red and pink roses, carefully arranged to showcase their vibrant hues, the sweet fragrance wafting from the flowers tantalizing the senses. And the other man holds a White teddy. It's so large that Tasleem couldn't see the man that holds it clearly.
Tasleem's heart swells with emotion, she only asked for a cat and he surprised her with all those things. She felt happy. "For you Mrs Rayyan." They said in unison. She smiled as the man handed her the cat. "Meow." The cat moaned at her. She rubbed its fur and the cat yawned and purred contentedly as it settled on Tasleem's hands.
In less than five minutes the delivery men have already left.
Tasleem was looking at all the gifts present in front of her. Rayyan hugged her from behind and his kiss landed on her cheek, he asked softly. "Do you like it?"
