"Very high? Do you think someone like Sa'eed who's been with Rayyan for this long would be interested in your small favor? Stupid, continue bidding until he is tempted."

"Okay."

At night....

Tasleem made coffee and carried it to the door of the study.

Raising her hands, she knocked on the door. There was no response from the man inside so she knocked again.

"Come in."

Tasleem pushed open the door and got in.

The lights were off in the study. The man was sitting behind the executive desk, the blue light from the laptop landing on his face, making him seem cold and fierce.

His slender long fingers were typing away on the keyboard and she did not know what he was typing.

Tasleem looked at his cold expression and her heart thumped. She went to his table and put the coffee down.

He looked at her with no fluctuation of emotions on his face.

She pushed the cup of coffee towards him, her voice soft. "I was wrong. I came to apologize with coffee."

When the man heard her words, there was no change in his expression. He continued to concentrate on his work on the laptop and the lines of his side profile were hard, yet charming.

Tasleem bit her lips and felt a little angry.

This person was getting more arrogant! "You don't plan to talk to me anymore?" She said, staring at him.

He looked up at her and said, "Why should you speak up for him? You don't even know him."

"You're not nice at all, I almost cried just now," she mumbled with grievance.

Rayyan furrowed his eyebrows. "That's because you're defending another man in front of me." He sat her down on his lap. "You shouldn't do that, you're mine." He wrapped his arms around her waist.

Tasleem wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his lips, "I wasn't defending him, you're just jealous."

Rayyan pursed his lips into a tight line. Of course he will be jealous, she was his everything. Her slender waist was pinched by him, hard. "Did you not come here to apologize?" He asked in a deep voice.

Tasleem blinked innocently, "Yeah, sorry." She said with a smile. "So can you stop being angry?" Her little hands traced his collarbone as she batted her eyes.

Rayyan shook his head, she wasn't taking the conversation seriously, she was like an innocent child, with her innocent big eyes and pouting lips.

He just couldn't be angry with this woman for too long. As soon as she gave in and played cute, his temper dissipated.

The two chatted for a while and retired for the night.

Five days later.....

Amira came with a face mask and sunglasses on her face.

Tasleem looked at Amira's miserable silhouette. She broke out laughing.

"It's not funny." Amira said and sat on the sofa, "I've been hiding at home, having nightmares. I think I'm traumatized."

Tasleem patted Amira on her back, "It has been hard on you." She could not hold herself back and began laughing aloud.

At 10:00 am they arrived at the supermarket, Amira put on her mask and sunglasses. She only got out of the car with Auntie U and Tasleem after making sure that she was wrapped up tightly.
