Tasleem rubbed her belly and said. "I won't."

He lovingly rubbed her head and said. "Alright, my princess."

After Tasleem finished eating and went to bed. She immediately fell asleep when her head touched the pillow.

Rayyan went to the study room. He called Sa'eed. "Find someone to tag Khalid. I want his every move, every breath of his report to me."

Sa'eed could not comprehend why. "Khalid? Why do you want him to be followed? Did he do something again?”

"Since when do you ask so many questions?"

"Come on, Boss... I'm your assistant. I'm supposed to know everything about you."

"It seems like you don't care about your yearly bonuses anymore."

Sa'eed immediately changed his words. "Fine, Boss. I'll always be ready for your orders."

After the call, Rayyan stayed in the study room till midnight and retired to his bedroom for the night.

A week has flown by.

It was 7 early in the morning. The sound of birds chirping passed through the window into the bedroom.

The rising sun blinded the eyes, pierced through the glass and entered the room. The day is bound to be hot.

Tasleem awoke to a bright sky outside the window. An arm was wrapped around her waist, while her neck was resting atop another. A leg pressed atop her own legs.

She looked at the face that was merely inches away from hers. His eyes were closed. And she saw the individual lashes framing them, each one long and dark.

He was still asleep. She slowly touches his lashes. Last night, she had not been able to sleep till 1AM.

She always thought that some women became idiots in love simply because of a sweet word or two from their men. They became gullible fools, their IQ levels so low that it was shocking.

But who could blame people in love?

Tasleem's hair fanned out over the pillow, its darkness contrasting against the white case. It resembled an ink wash painting.

She felt her palm being kissed twice. She looked at his eyes and they were staring straight at her.

Her lips were pink, and a deep red flush her cheeks. Her eyes radiated an indescribable sense of shyness and innocence.

Rayyan could not contain himself just by looking at her. He was so crazy over her that a single strand of her hair on her body would make him go crazy.

Tasleem pouted and withdrew her hand from his grip. He knew she was angry.

He held tight onto her. "I'm sorry, I'll restrain myself as best as I can from now on," he said. "Don't be mad at me, okay? You're probably hungry. Let's freshen up and go down to eat."

Tasleem did not move. "I can't move. I'm too tired. And I told you, I've lectures today."

"Let me give you a massage." He earnestly gave her a solid massage on her waist.

This man was not the man she had first met. He was loving, careful, considerate, and he gave her warmth in her heart.

Tasleem giggled and said. "Stop it, it's ticklish. I don't want to be late."

He let go of her and she went to the bathroom.

It took them 30 minutes to finish getting ready and headed to the living room. Snowy keeps on circling and purring at Tasleem. She put cat food on her plate.
