⇉ demon march arc
The hospital room was quiet, sterile, and pale under the harsh fluorescent light — except for one small, stubborn corner where life refused to be dimmed. Achexen moved with practiced ease, gathering Jass's things: a soft blanket, clothes folded neatly, a small bag of essentials. Her movements were methodical but gentle, as if every fold held the promise of freedom.
Jass sat up on the hospital bed, her gaze distant but steady. Achexen caught her eye and offered a smile. "Seryoso ka ba na handa ka na harapin ang realidad, men?"
Simula nang magising si Jass, sobrang ingat na ingat na sila sa mga galaw at sinasabi nila. Walang gustong mag-trigger sa panibagong tao sa katawan ni Jass. Walang gustong makita pa ang isang 'yon kaya iniingatan nilang ma-trigger ito.
Jass gave a short nod. "Na para bang may choice pa ako nito, men. Malamang, ready na talaga ako." Natatawang sagot ni Jass.
Just then, a burst of laughter and noise echoed from the hallway. Green's booming voice pierced the quiet like a beacon.
"Anak ng — saan na ba ang room ni Head?! May party pa tayo na sisimulan!"
Dahil dito, nagkatinginan si Jass at Achexen sa boses na 'yon.
Before Achexen could respond, the door burst open—literally—revealing the chaos that was the Anonymous Gang.
Green swaggered in first, a huge grin plastered across his face. "Shesh, look at you, finally out of that prison!" he declared, eyes sparkling with mischief and relief.
Sky followed, smirking. "You look way better without those tubes."
Cloud trailed silently behind, his quiet gaze sweeping over the room, taking in every detail like a shadow.
Jinling Blacksin stepped in next, more composed, his sharp manly aura coloring his words. "Welcome back, Jass."
Sin and Cole appeared last, the youngest of the group, arms loaded with a small bag of confetti and silly party hats. Sin held up the confetti with a triumphant grin. "We brought the fireworks!"
Cole nodded, eyes shining with excitement. "Gotta make sure the hospital knows you're officially back."
Jass couldn't suppress a chuckle, the first real sound of warmth since her stay began.
Walter stepped quietly through the doorway behind them, a single flower in hand — a soft lavender bloom, delicate but full of meaning. He gave her a tentative smile, hands slightly trembling. "I brought something for you."
Jass's eyes softened, taking the flower with a small, grateful smile. "Thank you, Walter."
Achexen shot a glance at Walter and then back at Jass. "Alright, let's get you dressed. You've got an army waiting outside."
As Achexen helped Jass into her clothes, Green tossed a handful of confetti in the air, laughter erupting as the tiny pieces fluttered down like a colorful storm.
"Come on, head," Green said, looping her arm through Jass's, "let's show these walls who's boss."
Jass stood, steadying herself with Achexen's support. The room buzzed with energy—the chaos, the noise, the love—it was everything she needed right now.
Sin and Cole handed her party hats, and with mock seriousness, Cole placed one crookedly on Jass's head.
"Ang mahal na prinsesa ng Anonymous Gang!" Sin teased.
